They (or a team idk) also made the bloop mod, the blaza, this and I think smth else this boss is called the king of the deep, they also made the abyssal blaza, ancient bloop so ye they prob onky making custom stuff and not stuff like atlas most likely
Some improvements I would make: Give the DAD sub actual textures. Currently it is just colors without any textures. Make the Angler fish only spawn in one area where you have to enter via stealth mode on the DAD to kill it. Maybe it gives a light or a way to supercharge your sea moth to go quicker. Make the final boss arena smaller (including the leviathan). Currently it feels just massive and would take 10 years to travel the distance between pylons. I think if they added the light suggestion from my above suggestion they could make it darker and have each pylon be marked with a beacon. The leviathan will jump out at you from the sides of darkness and you will receive a warning in the form of a message or a flashing light on the side of the screen. To deter it you will have to fire the tank as soon as it appears. This however will only stop it attacking for short period of time. Overall I think the boss fight could be better. I think if it had phases to make it harder it would be a huge improvement. Although this is already an impressive mod and I hope to see more like it in the future. Ain’t no way I just wrote an essay about a subnautica boss wtf. Also let’s hope they eventually update to 2.0.

This mod is DEFINITELY better than Sea2Sea (AVOID that mod, for now...still in alpha as a WIP, with LOTS of lag), BUT SockNautica does need polish. At least 2-4 art passes to get it right. For example, the movement of the heads of the hydra (2:15) is still robotic as the neck segments still have angular neck joints. These need smoothed out to be more realistic. Same for some of the other new creatures added. The two new vehicles need better texturing and reflective surfaces to come up to the standard of UWE graphics. I mean, if FCS can give us impressive graphics for their assets/elements in their mods, so can this modder. The alien buildings, again...need better texturing, like the broken glass inside the aquarium. Overall, a very playable mod but it needs some higher-end graphics tweaks and detail to the artwork.
Everything in this mod is pretty cool, but final bosses don't work in Subnautica unfortunatelly, that whole thing felt clunky also Sock's narcisistic will to include his name everywhere in the mod kinda ruins the immersion imo
Considering the vision of the original game, there should be a challenge where you can't use the weapons Maybe it can be called hippocratic oath or something
