This is something I've always tried to tell people. Idolizing ANYONE besides ahlul Bayt(as) sets you up for failure. The weakest argument I hear from women who do not wear hijab, for example, is that they know so many hijabis who do haram. So what?! They aren't supposed to be your examples. Or some people disregard everything that comes out of a particular scholar's mouth because they found out he is not perfect and makes humanly mistakes/sins. Elevate yourself, people. Think higher than this. We are all humans trying to make the best out of this temporary world. Nobody knows what they're doing 100% of the time, and everybody has struggles that you and I DO NOT see within themselves.
