What a joyous bunch of friends you have! I hope you continue for a long time. My bunch are all over-loved discarded kiddos I fix up, one little Annie was even a dog toy for a while. However folks find them, newish or not, they bring such comfort I hope you will inspire others to bring them into their lives. Thanks for sharing your journey hon.
I love the idea of fixing them up. That’s so cool. I hadn’t noticed, but in the natural light, my birthday Knickerbocker girl is pretty rough. Love her just the same. I think Johnny Gruelle’s greatest work was Raggedy Ann, such a beautiful tribute and way to remember his daughter. As a mother myself, I cannot imagine the pain and mourning he and his wife faced. Even then, they chose to keep Marcella’s memory through stories and a well loved toy. That love and sweetness seems to shine through such a simple little doll and her stories. I’ll be collecting for years to come. ❤️🧶
this is great I got introduced to the dolls in Summer 2016 which was when I watched the movie for the first time on TH-cam then I got my first pair for my 13th birthday where were made by Hasbro and then as the years went on I started getting more and more, I even got the full series for Christmas so I've been collecting for 6 years now
I love this so much! It’s neat to know that so many Raggedy fans are of all ages. It makes me so happy that her creator Johnny Gruelle left such a legacy of his daughter to be enjoyed by many over the years. Hasbro are one of my favorite kinds of Raggedy Anns. ❤️🧶
@@sarahreaume5093 wow! I wish I’d started collecting back in the ‘80s when I wanted one. It’s so neat to see how they’ve changed over time. Congrats on your upcoming 7th anniversary. 🧶❤️
You can't help smiling! Raggedy Ann is adorable in all sizes!🥰 What a nice collection...thanks for showing us! 💖
Right?! Thanks so much for your comment. 💕❤️🧶
