    Hey Wrestlelamiacs,
    Really hope everybody enjoyed this week instalment of Behind The Titantron.
    You'll notice Dylan has filled in for today's voice work. At the moment it's impossible for me (Wrestlelamia) to do long pieces of narration due to substantial building work (who also feel it's appropriate to blast Vengaboys at 7am when working).
    Hope you guys understand and if you can hit that like button and share the video as much as possible.
    Much Love

      @ Josh Traffanstedt . Cowboys were hot garbage for most the 80s. They were giving away free tickets to playoff games in 83 because they couldn't even sell out playoff games! Is it really that hard to believe they sucked for a decade? Presently they have sucked for almost 3 decades. Gotta suck for any Dallas fans under 30. When you have no union you are deemed to make less and Vince McMahon knows this... When you are an independent contractor Vince McMahon don't have to pay your medical bills unless you both have that on paper, Vince McMahon can just sit and make billions off your work which I'm fine cause these fools should demand better after all the damage done to their bodies.. Vince McMahon can give you just $3,000 a night while he makes 100 million in a night just off your performance and I find that not to be fair and if they had a union none of this would be going down and wrestlers would be really WWE employees with nice bank accounts... But I can't totally blame Vince Mcmahon cause these wrestlers don't stand up and strike against this shit and I won't blame Vince for wrestlers taking any damn thing they can get... Even back in the day was even worst cause wrestlers didn't get any guarantees on contracts which I hate in a way cause someone can just can just drop you without a reason because they don't want to pay you or made enough money off you that they don't need you anymore even if your contract hasn't expired yet.. I want to see everybody get paid for their work even if it's Pro Wrestling or Basketball make all the damn money you can so your kids won't have to go through the major shit like you before hand.. This is America and everyone should be able to make how much they want.. I'm very agreeable for people living without a worry of getting evicted or getting food for their marriage..

      i never got why people go apeshit over his "loose cannon" gimmick... it wasnt that great, and its not that great now that dean ambrose does the same shtick, but i saw him during the "flyin brian" and hollywood blonde periods that was good stuff.. all the horsemen and hart foundation stuff was boring and after his injury his matches were sad to watch...

    • @fuzzydunlop7928
      @fuzzydunlop7928 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kleevorpos1838 1) Dean Ambrose is a loose equivalent. On the surface they seem similar but not so much when actually comparing the two.
      2) Pillman's whole "work/shoot" thing has aged incredibly poorly (for the most part, some of those ECW promos still get a chuckle out of me), but back when it was done it was some edgy shit. You need to keep in mind - the WWF still had blue fucking floor mats at this time while Pillman is threatening to piss in the middle of the ring in Philly and eventually pulling a gun on Stone Cold. You look at it with modern eyes and it's easy to roll them due to all the "insider" lingo like "he's shooting!" during his ECW debut - it's all very groan inducing now but back then Russo had not yet beat it into the ground in WCW - all of that was new and cutting age and all of the shit that proceeded it was directly inspired by those angles. Without them, the idea wouldn't seem cliche in the first place. If you don't look at it with that in mind you're doing yourself a disservice, you might as well not even watch old wrestling if you can't use it as a time machine.

    I grew up watching Mid South Wrestling and loved going to the matched.
    My dad was is a cop and they would offer overtime his Dept. They could do security for concerts and Mid South Wrestling matches. I got to go to work with my dad and would watch in awe the matches. It was back in the era of Junkyard Dog, Terry Taylor, Magnum T.A., Steve Dr. Death Williams,The Road Warriors, Kamala the Ugandan Giant,Etc.
    The Von Reich's Wrestled every weekend and I loved be close to the ring. Kerry and his brothers always high fives you when they entered the ring. They made each fan feel special. I had a autographed poster from them that was back when they pimped pizza from Pizza Hut.
    It was so sad that they Passed. Kevin still keeps they're memory alive.
    I truly treasure my memories from going to Mid South Wrestling with my best friend and hero my dad!😉

    Kerry was my favorite. I still 2 this day give just about every kid I play wrestle with "The Claw". I can still just barely remember hearing about David. But it was all about Kerry when I was old enough 2 really get into wrestling. My grandma worked 4 children's hospital while I was growing up and there was more than 1 pro wrestler that came 2 see all the sick kids. But Kerry will always b my favorite. My gma and the guys dad got 2 b kinda buddies. He was always very nice. They all were 2 b honest. Now I actually haven't been into wrestling since about 9th grade. Which is over 20 yrs ago. But a ton of my earliest happiest memories involve wrestling. And there was so much going on , whether it b part of the show and was something planned and rehearsed. Or if it was just behind the scenes stuff that I at that young age just did not get or understand. Especially when WWF took over. And this guy was going and this guy was staying...it was just really confusing. And upsetting. But since about a week ago, when I just stumbled upon your channel, im getting most if not all of my questions answered. Finally. And though I still dont really have much interest in wrestling these days i still love watching and hearing about the good ol' days. Your now my favorite channel. Thank u man...ur doing a kick ass job. plz keep it up.
    and just a little side note. not that this will b a shock really but The Big Show was the last wrestler I got 2 meet due 2 my gma's job and let me tell u he was 1 of the funniest nicest guys u could ever hope 2 meet. Having said that I got 2 see Andre the Giant n a match 1 time and was super close when he made his way 2 the ring. And he was a beast! Big big man. But Big Show...man, I and ALL of those old ladies who were volunteers at the hospital were just overwhelmed by his size. When I shook his hand I swear I got dizzy. It was 1 of the craziest most entertaining days of my life...
