Skorpion G was much better than Su 130PM but honeymoon is finished and WG have done something with the accuracy of Skorp and now is a same shit like Su, you can`t trust the gun at all.

I like the skorp mobility but other than that it is worse
I have both tanks, and I prefer the 130. Gun and mobility are nice on the Skoprion, but the camo on the 130 is amazing. You can passive scout with it pretty easily and the low profile means you can even hide in smaller bushes too. Plus you have a little better shell velocity with AP, which is always a good thing
The G is faster can flex into a medium tank, and has a full turret. Also it uses APCR rounds not HEAT so tracks won't eat its shot. I have both tanks but prefer the G
@@redsabre69 If you can learn to work around it, the full turret doesn't really make much of a difference most of the time since the 130 has such a wide gun arc to begin with. I guess if you prefer being more aggressive then the G might be the better tank for its versatility, otherwise for a more passive role the 130 is the better choice
@@JoshameeGibbs_official the thing about a paper TD is that people shouldn't really get behind you in the first place. the Skorpion's turret is so slow that anything but artillery can out pace it, especially when you're tracked. and you don't really need to be worried about getting flanked if the enemy doesn't know you're there in the first place, ie have great camo
I agree Skill these were two very close and great games, far better than the 15-3 games we normally get. Skill I have both the Skorp G and SU -130 both excellent tier 8 TD's however in my opinion WG have secretly nerfed the Skorp G. It just does not perform as well as it did and many player would agree.

Claus kellerman did a video on this, saying new premiumy are strong with good mm when released, then one day "honeymoon" is over and you get bottom tier and bad rng. If this proves to be true i hope that a lightning strikes at wg

I only have su130, but most of the time I remain unspotted compared with fellow skorpion bushwankers. I really apreciate camo on TDs

i got su130 before skorpion.... when i got skorp i was really disappointed for how overhyped it is. It is still fine, but su is a lot more to my taste
Game says 0,25 dispersion. Reality says 0,45...aim time is a joke on top

Tank almost as useless as its big brother Grille. If you don't take all your time to aim the shot ends up on the moon. On the other hand, if you aim well, 30% of the shots will still end up on the moon. The demonstration that, for the WG, everything that is not Russian must work badly. How nice to have left this game for several months now.

Skorp was the best TD in tier 8, then I don't know what happened but it doesn't connect shots like it used to. Now I prefer the SU130PM.
Hard to say which is better. Skorpion is the mobile scoot and shoot TD which can keep up with fast pushes while the SU 130 PM is better at ambushing and damage per shot.
We are getting close(r) - a German TD. Day 95 of asking for a Jagdpanther (T7) video ...

Interesting you mention the SU-130PM in the first game. DezGames uploaded a video about the SU-130PM V Skorpion just on 11hrs ago. Which I'd planned on watching just after this video of yours.

I sometimes get the feeling that the more skill says how much he loves a tank... the more the opposite is true... but then again I am Canadian and thus inherently sarcasm impaired..

I love the Scorpion.. lately it bounces often against even the tier 6 and 7 AI bots.
When confronting SkorpG or SU130, I feel the former is a better brawler as it has better mobility. The later has better camo, which is deadly until exposed. A patient SkorpG driver for the win.
i enjoy the SU130PM a bit more because of the camo
I actually use exhaust on this tank to negate the camo issue and this tank becomes much more flexible. Rotation + exhaust + rammer and the reinforced suspension for +15% better terrain resists makes this thing move and rotate like a medium and have the camo of one. Almost feels like a leo pta setup like that....

Tips for anyone who wants to have the Skorpion in the best form possible.
Equips: Bounty Rotation + Bounty Exhaust + Bond Optics.
You don't need a Rammer on this tank.
Rotation Mechanism is far better than Improved Aiming on this tank. It makes the bloom much smaller also makes the tank much quicker.
Bounty Exhaust +7% camo so you will have 21% camo, that's enough to play with bushes as a TD/MT hybrid.
Optics for spotting obviously, especially now with Field Mods, you can have 470m viewrange all the time.
This setup enables the Skorpion to be in front, to spot for yourself and not rely on your teammates that much.
On the other hand, this kind of playstyle is very risky and its requires a very large knowledge about the game to make it work.
If you have a huge love for the tank and have >9k PR as well, go for it and you will get results as you wanted.
I actually really enjoyed this episode - the hard decisions you have to make was really interested
Skorp G is my warm up tank and money maker. Play with binocs, camo net and rammer. Or optics , rammer and aiming mechanism

Thank you for the video, great games! I have to admit i don't agree with Skill4ltu's equipment and field modification decisions regarding the Skorpion G. Since the gun is so accurate naturally, i think you don't need neither sniper Schnitzel device nor sniper Schnitzel field modification. I did extensive testing and now i am using IRM and aiming speed field modification, which works way better for me

For me it feels like some matches every shot with the skorp is on the edge of the aim circle.
Skill video idea if you like you could do first match with premium tank and then try to exceed with tech tree tank. We all small baboons know that if you try it, you will fair and square each match.
i have the Scorp and the SU-130, the SU-130 feels much better for me. Beside the stats the gun feels much more accurate :)

If you want accuracy go fir T-100LT. No improvements needed. Perfect from the factory. Aiming decreases DPM. Look at replays for that 0.42 perfection.

In the first battle you should have died at 2:12. Normally 3-4 guns are just waiting for glas cannons in that position and you literally begged to be banged out there in the open

Hi sir, you are right about no camo and no armor, the tank is not that great. You have to hide to make your shots. Even an alien can spot you from Outer Space! By far I prefer my WZ 120-1G Ft that has camo, gun and armor.You can even use it like a heavy tank. Having gone against a VK72 right on him and destroying him while he could not get his gun down low enough to hit me was very funny! Having 3.8 millions pts. experience with this WZ I can say that I know what i'm talking about

SU-130PM because of camo. And my Skorp G has gun from Chinese while my SU's gun hits the target way more.
I'm Skorpion/Skorpion G lover too... p.s. I got SU-130 PM from marathon got 40WR with it... Did a trade in to FV 4202... And yeah after i did trade wg announced that you will be able get FV 4202 from referral program... And a weak after they announced that SU-130 PM gonna be in the Big Boxes... And i got it from first 3 boxes... so i managed 1time trade it and one time sell it not gonna trade it anymore... But ain't gonna buy it back too... 😂

I don’t understand those who complain about skorp’s accuracy?? I have mine with improved accuracy mod (-8% dispersion) and it hits very very reliably. Not always pixel shots but it just hits.

su130pm has better shell velocity, higher alfa damage and better concealment. Scorp has higher DPM.
I have both and for my feeling skorp i a bit more accurat on the gun but my MM with the skorp is horrible ... camo on 130 is great but the gun troll a lot and to play whit the turret you have to get used

This tank was the reason I quit wot for over a year. I was just so shocked at the time that a premium tank was now better than its tech-tree equivalent at tier 8. Guess that has become the norm sadly..
It is my second worst tier 8 TD in dpg only better than jagdtiger 88.

For me 130pm's gun just doesn't work (130pm is also ran with better crew)
Both are running same setup: Rammer, Turbo and optics, both 3 marked, so im not performing badly with either but Skorp's all the way
Idk this is hard chose bettween Skorpion and SU-130PM.
SU-130 has better alfa,camo but bad acceleration speed,Skorpion has quite same alfa dmg,good speed but no camo.
I have this blyatifull tank from from the beginning. After some time I get 2nd mark and after that gun telling me eat kako man you are not gonna hit anything and i dropped on 73%....
Now i'm too scared to play it again :D

Not worth it. Skorp is all about finesse, not bushwanking. It is very different compared to 130pm

2 games in 1/2 hour. Meanwhile this morning I played 9 games in an hour using tier 8 premium TDs (including the Skorpion G).
Also for me Skorpion is better than the SU-130 PM, much more flexible tank than the SU despite it's worse camo.
7000 games on skp G. Seven skills crew. Skorping is still very good. The point you have to know.how to using mobility of Skop.
