I hate when people like you completely switch up the story. Stefan was the one that broke Elena’s heart. He broke up with her. He also was the one that left her and she kept chasing him after everything. Another thing is she was “whiny” because a lot of bad things were happening and she had constant pressure on her shoulders. People were hunting her down and she was the one risking her life but Damon and Stefan always prevented that. She didn’t ask for anyone’s help.
Who wouldn’t be sad and whiny about losing people? I bet you would. I bet anyone who has goddamn emotions would feel miserable and complain about losing their loved ones.
