Yet when Damon thought Elena broke up with him/ stopped caring about him (it was really Katherine but he didn’t know that) he snapped Jeremy’s neck (not knowing he was wearing his ring) and killed her friend. Stefan would have never hurt the people she cared about just to get back at her. That’s why I hate TVD so damn much because they created the most epic love story in the history of all shows and then threw it all away and made Elena end up with the biggest villain in the show.
