Great video! I’m trying to help my wife with this. She’s been credentialed through a group practice for many years. Does the process change at all when you are now credentialing as your own independent provider outside of the group practice?
Hey thanks for watching. It really depends on the insurance. Some can make it a seamless process and some make you start from the top by submitting a new provider enrollment application. I would call her favorite ones and go from there. I would also prioritize based on reimbursement rates. If you all are on Facebook and depending on what state, i might be able to give some insight.

Kindly advise
I have a provider, an MD specializing in Internal Medicine, who is credentialed with UHC and linked to a tax ID. The tax ID is the same for both the group and the individual provider. However, the group application is still in process, and she is the only provider in the group. My questions are: Can she bill UHC since she is linked to the tax ID? Does she need group enrollment, or is individual enrollment sufficient?
If I’m understanding questions correctly, She will have to wait till she is approved by UHC before she can bill.

Decide what sector of healthcare you want to work with and start marketing towards them! Do you want to credential to mental health professionals, physicians, dentist? Also provide billing services too! They go hand in hand ☺️
