There have been several builds where a 24” landscaping buffer with edging run around the building using river rock between 1” to 3” in diameter would keep the dirt off of the wainscoting and keep the WeedEater from tearing up the metal. Even better would be to bite the bullet and extend the slab for an 18” to 24” sidewalk all the way around the building. Then all you have to do is run the edger a few times a year around the building to keep the grass at bay.
Thanks for some great insights James!! All of these are great solutions to maintaining that bottom exterior clean for our clients to keep in mind. We will pin your comment!
We do not offer landscaping services yet, but our site team does advise our clients of how important this can be! The sidewalk around the building will also be according to the client and budget but great ideas!
We appreciate your comments!
They should have poured the Open Lean-To at least 2" lower than Final Floor Elevation to prevent rain water from infiltrating the living area
I reviewed our notes and the video, and the open lean to was 1.5” lower than the Final Floor Elevation. Although we didn’t do this concrete work, it was done right with all notch work and brick ledge to prevent water infiltration 👌🏼
i like your work🙏💎🍾🍸♥️🇹🇹
Glad you like it! Thank you :)
Like the black with white contrast but does the black roof heat up the building too much?
Great question Richard, it very much is a possibility as black tends to attract the sun. A lot of metal buildings also have galvalume as their standard roof color
Lmao 😂😂😂 he said if I paid attention in 3rd grade, there is 12 windows. Then y’all put on the screen that there is 14 windows.
He indeed did not pay attention in 3rd grade class... haha
Do you guys do standing seam roofs?
We do not offer a full standing seam roof (yet) as part of our product line. We do hope to soon!
