The RETURN of Kaiserreich is here, after the new HOI4 DLC release, Kaiserreich is updated and all patched up to make it possible to play the best HOI4 mod once again.

I have been getting corrupted save files left and right in Kaiserreich and Kaiserredux, it is driving me insane and its always like late in the game like 39' or 41' which is when things are at its peak, so I keep getting blue balled.

You're not supposed to use the puppet function in Kaiserreich peace conferences, that might've led to the crash you got

14:56 this is exactly why I think focuses should be reworked. as it stands it feels like it encourages doing nothing but spending pp to do everything. In my ideal world, focuses would work like missions in eu4, where you can just trigger them upon completion of the criteria/conquests to get bonuses.
To clarify, it feels like it encourages just waiting around for pp to accrue before spending it to do everything

I’m still waiting for Tommy to play federalist sichuan on elite difficulty, it is unwinnable, even for TK.
It is winnable on Normal, really winnable in fact. He should play on that difficulty instead
It is winnable in normal, but the PP debuffs from elite plus the situation ANY of the Sichuan’s is in, and everything else means unifying all of China as federalist Sichuan (one of the few paths with a post unification tree for Sichuan) on elite difficulty with the insane debuffs and locked focuses is “fucked”
Point is, if you literally can’t do anything, because you don’t have factories or focuses that give you factories (because they’re locked behind opium decisions which can’t be taken because of the insane PP penalties) then you have to wage war, with 8 divisions (or all of your starting ones if you play your cards right) against all of your neighbors who have garbage terrain, infrastructure and better armies then you.
It cannot be won on elite, if you do win have fun playing until the 50’s at least.

Great job editing this video. You had to try and explain a rather complicated mod and you did a great job
This Poland rework seems honestly bad to me. If you need a textbook for the focuses and decisions you need to take in order not to lock yourself out of attacking Germany to get your cores, then that's not a good mod. All the other nations, and in fact even Poland before this update, are much more straight forward
I'd say it's a mid sort of update but overall good for poland, gives you a bigger focus on roleplaying as faction and come on it's not too hard to balance between mechanics, it's not TNO level of complexity

Also the whole gameplay is literally a big PP sink for 5 years until you can do some badly balanced content

I do love Tommy with player-led peace conferences, he tries his best to make it fair and although slightly bias isn't hugely. Although at the end of he did defeat the Ottomans and gave nothing to egypt that would be bs xd, at least give them the part they own today, maybe even a israel or Jordan puppet for them.

Tommy provides the best content especially for learning new things about the game and its mods. I have around 200 hours in hoi4 and the amount of knowledge ive gained from watching tommy has taught me more than all those hours of gameplay. Dont need to watch a 20 episode playthrough but instead get these 20 minute videos. Easily the most underrated HOI4 channel on all of TH-cam. And this editor that he has, top notch!!!!!

try deleting the paradox hoi4 folder it will erase your saves but it made mods load up in my pc
Your clearly installing it wrong. Actually read the ReadMe notes when you download the mod to make sure your installing it properly.

i wish they changed it a bit, i mean occupation events, so it wouldn't be about whole area but decisions regarding states, for example Slovakia, you could either: occupy all, give this southern small state to Hungary (wouldn't matter if friendly or neutral, as long as it's not enemy you could) and occupy the rest, give southern small state to Hungary and puppet the rest or just puppet it whole
