In my ideal world, focuses would work like missions in eu4, where you can just trigger them upon completion of the criteria/conquests to get bonuses.

Although at the end of he did defeat the Ottomans and gave nothing to egypt that would be bs xd, at least give them the part they own today, maybe even a israel or Jordan puppet for them.
It is winnable in normal, but the PP debuffs from elite plus the situation ANY of the Sichuan’s is in, and everything else means unifying all of China as federalist Sichuan (one of the few paths with a post unification tree for Sichuan) on elite difficulty with the insane debuffs and locked focuses is “fucked” Point is, if you literally can’t do anything, because you don’t have factories or focuses that give you factories (because they’re locked behind opium decisions which can’t be taken because of the insane PP penalties) then you have to wage war, with 8 divisions (or all of your starting ones if you play your cards right) against all of your neighbors who have garbage terrain, infrastructure and better armies then you. It cannot be won on elite, if you do win have fun playing until the 50’s at least.
i wish they changed it a bit, i mean occupation events, so it wouldn't be about whole area but decisions regarding states, for example Slovakia, you could either: occupy all, give this southern small state to Hungary (wouldn't matter if friendly or neutral, as long as it's not enemy you could) and occupy the rest, give southern small state to Hungary and puppet the rest or just puppet it whole
This Poland rework seems honestly bad to me. If you need a textbook for the focuses and decisions you need to take in order not to lock yourself out of attacking Germany to get your cores, then that's not a good mod. All the other nations, and in fact even Poland before this update, are much more straight forward
I'd say it's a mid sort of update but overall good for poland, gives you a bigger focus on roleplaying as faction and come on it's not too hard to balance between mechanics, it's not TNO level of complexity
@@koneser8197tbf is too easy to get yourself locked out of some paths ( some are completely outside of your control) Also the whole gameplay is literally a big PP sink for 5 years until you can do some badly balanced content The update is Mid but really feels badly implemented
