    Hi Mark. Always good to see that you have made some more progress on the layout. You have a lot of plans and good ideas there. I look forward to seeing how they develop and evolve. Take care. Mark.

    Looking terrific. I had thought you might go for four tracks on the main tables but I can see where you are going with it. Exciting times👍

    Looking good. I dig that big stone bridge in the background. It's crazy how much turnouts cost.

    Fantastic progress, Mark. I am not one to evaluate others' plans, but like all plans- you work on them and modify if something comes up. Get the basics of what you want, and then expect to change. How's that for repetitive advice? You do fabulous work, so trust your instincts. Anyhow, great video and thanks for letting us in on the moves.

    Your layout is rea!oh taking shape - one thing I do wish I had included on mine was a fiddle yard!

      Thank you, yeah I was kind of needing a little space until I build the further two fiddle yards

    Hi Mark Your ideas certainly sound interesting, it will be good to see progess at whatever pace it may be, although what you have achieved in 4 months is amazing. I wish I could sort myself out and get on with doing my grand plans, lol. May I just say though, the station next to the viaduct you wanted a set of steps upto the bridge, have a look at some of the stations on the ex Great Central Railway, (like Quorn, Rothley etc) they may provide a little inspiration. Good luck with it. Thanks

      Thank you Peter, that sounds interesting I’ll be sure to have a little search for some imagery online so thanks for the heads up always good to seek some inspiration. It took me a while to get this going so hopefully one day youll get there too 🙂 thank you for your support and taking the time to watch my videos it really is appreciated 👍🏻

    I agree take your time I'm doing the same , points are expensive bur the grand plan of the fiddle yards is a great idea.
    Ttfn mark.

    Your at that stage where it branches out to many jobs to be done. I will watch with interest your yard as i may be useful for when i come to storage yard areas. Go for servos to control points unless you can pick up used peco point motors, I`ll be using both as they do add to the expense if buying new

    Loving the progress so far. It’s really starting to take shape. I look forward to seeing the upcoming plans too. What style of points will you be using? Hornby? Peco? Set track? Express?

    • @HemelDownModelRailway
      @HemelDownModelRailway  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you, I’m using the peco large streamline insulfrog points I’ve had hornby points in the past and seem to have issues with them so went peco in the end because it’s a large space I can get away with the longer more gentle points 🙂
