Part 1:Dispersed camping Old NC 105 at Linville Gorge and Linville Falls in the RTT with the family.

In March of 2021, we loaded up the 4runner with the family and our new Tough Stuff Alpha roof top tent and head for Linville Gorge, a hidden gem in Western NC. We hiked to Linville Falls before finding a spot to set up camp on iconic Old NC 105. We set up the FireDisc and cook some delicious food and hang out at our great camp site!

Hey, man, great video. Where off 105 is this? I’m in the area and would like to transition to the “pedal” as you put it. Looking for primitive places to drive my 4runner to and just camp out with the family

Thank you so much for watching! This is definitely the perfect place to come and hang out with your family! The coordinates of the start of Old NC 105 are: 35.95068, -81.93395. The road is about 13mi. Long and there are distributed camp spots all along the road. Probably about 50 or more spots of various sizes. Have fun!
