I'm surprised there's no comments on your technique of using the mask that the sky replacement tool creates. You are the first person I've seen to use it, very nice work!

I’m glad you enjoyed it - it’s such a simple repurposing of Adobe’s new tools

Thank you very much for posting this video! I'm a Photoshop beginner but just blended a seascape where I had used a slow shutter speed for the water and a faster speed for the sky.

Glad it worked for you! The new "Select Subject" Photoshop tools work great as well.

So much easier than selecting the sky, then inverting and masking. Thanks

This is a really awesome video. Super helpful and way easier than Raya Pro or any of the luminosity masking stuff. It's such a pain if you're trying to blend exposures with trees especially.

Looks so easy when someone else is doing it. I get on and try and it’s like I’m trying to literally figure out how to build a rocket engine. Then Photoshop with its constant updates changes where you find these options and makes it worse. I guess you have to be incredibly intelligent to use Photoshop.

Photoshop is a massive software for sure, but like anything else, you take it one bite at a time until that piece becomes comfortable. The learning curve can be steep at times, but it just takes time and practice.

@@caviestcaveman8691 wow, you're not kidding - that really went to s***. But hopefully you still get the concept from it; just simple simple brushing on the mask.
