I’ll never forget playing the Britney version with my best friend after both us hearing and loving the Gaga version. We both preferred the the Britney version. Just imagine if she had this in her hits catalog. And if she had picked up Umbrella. Unstoppable!!!

SO! This song was originally written by Lady Gaga for Britney Spears and her Circus album. She recorded a demo, but didn't really like it or felt it fit. Lady Gaga decided to just finish is herself and they added in Beyonce, as they had collaborated on Videophone and seemed camp. The glitchy vocals heard in the final song are still Britney's vocals, just manipulated. The Britney version leaked as a rough, low quality demo. It was one of the most pirated songs of that year. The producer later acknowledged it's leak, stating that he wished he could polish up the demo and release it, but obviously could not. Which is interesting because a new demo ended up leaking, a higher quality, more polished version with Britney and Gaga. So, using these sources, some upscaling and generally being a music producer who does a lot behind the scenes stuff, I took the vocals from the original leaked demo, the newer one, spruced them up and remastered everything with the final release's instrumental. This is a fan recreation using all of the source material available. Those are actually britney's vocals.
