Very impressive. Thank you so much. Most physicians who treat are surgeons who only talk about liposuction or maybe massage or bandages at most. The rest is just more diets that don't work. This is the first serious discussion of practical, non-invasive treatment for Lipedema that I have seen.
So very helpful and having suffered for sometime with limited medical expertise locally, it’s wonderful to have information from an deeply experienced practitioner.
What about a little liquid serrapeptaise mixed with dmso and put directly on the skin for lipedema? Maybe would break down the scar tissue faster than taking it orally
I have just about all of the symptoms of hypothyroidism, but my blood values stayed at the lowest acceptable number, never dropping into the "official" zone for treatment. I tried Pure Encapsulations Thyroid Support and some of my symptoms improved after about 3 weeks. I had to stop taking it because of a personal financial crisis, but as soon as I can afford this supplement I will definitely take it again.
It’s a very informative video. My question is how to convince a doctor to prescribe me anfetamina to help me against lipedema? I think even metformin is already difficult.
Exactly what I was thinking! I've been recently diagnosed with Dercum's disease and the rheumatologist straight up said there's nothing he can do for me. Like, what? After listening to this researcher's lectures on the topic I can clearly see that he's full of it. It's become very difficult to get prescribed anything that I actually need. Lyrica, gabapentin, metformin... getting a prescription for amphetamines seems like a wild daydream.
Fat in the DIET does NOT cause fat gain. Fructose in excess (also branched-chain amino acids and choline deficiency to some degree) is what makes you insulin resistant, which causes fatty liver & fat gain in many people. Also other disease like Hypothyroidism cause fat gain. Fructose also increases fatty acids, also known as triglycerides, in the blood stream.
I don't know why I am so hesitant to believe some of this related to nutrients. I am hoping that going to the conference might help me to have a better understanding about some of this.
I certainly don't, but I'm reading books on lipedema and there are some main ones I'm starting with like selenium, diosmin, and oddly. guaifenesin.....I got them at different times from Amazon
I found the document on another site at lipedemaitalia.info/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/medicine-and-supplement-for-people-with-lipedema-and-DD-Herbst.pdf
Is there any support groups for Dd in u.k? I diagnosed myself with my illnesses before any Dr did,I think that's sad,I got sent from department to department in hospital each time I was referred cause the drs never knew where to send me,now I've had lump cut out and told agreed its dd ,on same day ,but I've still not seen a specialist in the area, the surgeons gone now I was told today so I'm kinda back to start.

Quercetin can actually WORSEN asthma. It may be helpful for allergies if patient does NOT have asthma. Stinging Nettle seems to work for my allergies without making my asthma worse.
you look for a lymphedema specialist in therapy--- not every physical therapist is trained in it. Some Occupational Therapists are and some Physical Therapists are.
Only if you exceed the recommended dosage and abuse it. Thousands of children and adults with ADHD take adderall and they aren't addicted. Its called substance 'abuse' because it involves exceeding recommended doses specified by doctors and manufacturer.
I have type 2 diabetes and took metformin for a few years with awful side effects and had to stop because I was having high lactic acid levels resulting in lactic acidosis. I'm very sensitive to medications. I have not been diagnosed with DD but definitely believe that I have it. Can you recommend a physician in NH? Thank you beforehand for your time and help.
Anybody that would recommend Amphetamines and Statins for Lipedema is misinformed at best. Both will cause liver damage. Liver health is paramount for any inflammation. And Lipedema is an inflammatory condition.

This video is very helpful. Thank you so much! You might add, though, addiction as a side effect of amphetamines.

What about IV infusions of high dose vitamin C?

Phentermine causes severe side effects, including hypertension and congestive heart failure.
Robin Lillian I would never take it!!!
Sometimes there are no good choices and you have to make one that has less risks associated with your own circumstances.
