What are some easy habits you like to practice to keep your home organized? 🤍

I have hooks by the front door. But I struggle with a place for my purse. I don't like leaving it by the front door, as it makes me feel vulnerable. Where do you recommend a place for your daily grab and go bag?

@@taschastales On the side or on the Inside of a rolldoor on a hook. I now only use one purse but I used to have mulitple and I would have them on hooks on the inside part of my table (where your leg area is) and this worked well for me then as well.

I have another tip, if you ahve items that always end up in a different spot where the designated home is, just change the designated home to the spot where it automatically end up

Thanks for the video, I got curious so I clicked on it the other day and I feel like it's been very helpful, especially the 60sec touch up, do one small thing and put it back ! I'm disabled (likely from ASD and big long term burn out) and I have so little energy in general that I can't function well. It makes it very very hard for me to keep my space clean and organised at all even if it basically make my issues worse.
Realising that just doing small things whenever I can and learning to make it an habit would actually make a difference changes *everything*, maybe it takes me some energy to rearrange my desk when I leave it, but it saves me so much later on when I don't have a huge pile of things on it to put back where it belongs and a awfully dirty surface to clean ! Thanks a lot for the tips :)

Love this! Now I have a 3 year old daughter, the mini today when we're done is crucial. So when we go back to that space later, it's ready to go. Like cleaning up toys in her bedroom before we go downstairs for dinner. Then her room is ready when we go up to bed. Fabulous tips, super inspiring! I've been approach most of my life this way lately, in small chunks. Like cleaning the fridge one or two shelves at a time over a few days. Still gets done, in an easier way 👍

I'm all for reminder notes of to-do lists on post-it notes. I have a multi-coloured pad and pick a colour for today's list, another for extra tasks during the week. As I complete tasks, I cross them out and have a time to rewrite what's left. That way, it doesn't look overwhelming ❤

I only decant things that don't come in resealable packaging like sugar and flour. I don't mind other packaging in my CLOSED pantry.

I dust the kitchen cupboards each week to fortnight. The other, checking that my clothes are neatly in the wardrobe. I can see everything, and it makes it easier to be organised. I remember your videos of setting your wardrobe - they are a good guide ❤

I created the pinterest perfect pantry with the labeled baskets, but i found i didnt use stuff when it was stored in baskets or i would buy triplicates😂 So i got rid of baskets but i still use glass jars. Now i can see it all.

Haha yes!! I used to have baskets that were above my eye level (so I couldn’t just see what was in them) and the moment I got rid of them I felt like it was so much easier to know it was in my pantry!! Love that 👏👏

I have small containers for waste, plastic and paper, which I empty weekly. This way, it does not pile up or get smelly. Because of the size it is easy to handle. AND, I absolutely love the feeling afterwards, it always feels like getting rid of bad energy somehow.
I am very curious what is in the small buckets in your drawer with the tags with years on it!

Love that!! I keep my hard drives there with my work from each year. Working in photo/video the file sizes can be pretty intense and I often go back in reference old projects, so I always like to have backups of them!

2:03 Aaaack. 😮 It should be first in and first out. Finish the old stock before replenishing. Also, choose air tight containers to keep ingredient fresh versus being ruled by aesthetics. MUJI can hit both form and function so consider that.

I really need to implement the rule for the paperwork coming in. Now I just throw my complete pile of mail on the table after looking through it. Such a nonsense to throw everything there and having to go through it again later 😅.
