Pudu Heun Kee, started in 1983 by Madam Heun. She created this special cooking method of using charcoal both from the bottom and on the lid of the claypot. This technique is still being used until today. The fragrant of charcoal plus saltiness of salted fish, the claypot chicken rice is to die for! Heun Kee has be awarded Michelin Bib Gourmand for 2023, 2024, so you know it's gonna be good!

Hi Nick, I'm from Sydney Australia. Have previously mentioned that you're the BEST in promoting your food video with mentioning the address, menu and price, and the day the restaurant closes, English sub-titles, verdict on the dishes you ordered. This claypot restaurant is in my bucket list to try when I come to KL once a year to stay for 30 days. The salted fish is a must I see, and I like the side dishes too. Thank you very much for sharing your videos.

hey yes! We went there 4pm on wednesday.....although its quite full but there was no queue yet. Mind you though, on weekend, we tried to go by 4pm there was still queue, so best to go on weekday!
