  • ◆The SOYA Express is the only direct Limited Express train between Sapporo and Wakkanai, the northernmost station in Japan.
It took me over 5 hours to get to Wakkanai Sta. , and then I visited the Cape Soya.

Wow that's a lot of snow. I'm impressed from the service under these extreme weather conditions. Well done. JR is a great example ☺️

Wonderful trip! I agree with the monument on Cape Soya 'May peace prevail upon the Earth'. I always enjoy your trips and learn so much.

Great video, Kuga-san! A part of Japan not usually seen, and I appreciate the geographical references - I knew that the tip of Hokkaido was just across from Sakhalin Island, but didn’t know it was

Hello from Germany, I watched your great video today and I'm thrilled. Because it immediately give me a tip about what I would do when I was in Sapporo for four weeks next year for work. I will definitely take this train ride and go to Cape Soya . Thanks for this video and kind regards from the German Alps .

What a wonderful trip, arigatou gozaimasu! I really enjoy your humour, like the prospect of tasting the snow, then "Nah, I'm good", it made me chuckle. :)
