As a side note, Sanji's base durability should be as strong as his own haki. Queen said, "That wasn't haki, was it?", when the sword shattered on Sanji's skin, implying that the sword would have only shattered if Sanji had used haki to block. But it was his bare skin. Therefore, if Sanji uses his armament haki, his durability is literally 2 full layers of haki, which is nuts...

Feel like Sanji has more agility and striking mobility. A lot of Marcos’ kicking power comes from linear run-up (or more specifically charged fly-in). Meanwhile sanji’s running agility and moonwalk allow him to make sudden directional changes and still generate power. Sanji can do charges up linear movements the same as Marco but he’s got multilateral offense
That’s a good way of describing it but moreso to do w movement speed and not attacks. Like luffy G4 snakeman attacks can change direction but not himself while Sanji is the opposite where sanjis kicks are straight but he can dart around even when he’s not striking

Then he flys around onigashima with izo for a bit and helps heals some people before blocking kaidos boro breath. A full health marco going for the win could probably take them high-extreme diff. Ifrit Jambe was made to burn through even the toughest robot enhanced, ancient zoan, with armament haki in seconds. King's durability would literally mean very little in the face of Ifrit Jambe. But even if we humor that King is more durable still, his durability form is when King is still SLOW. At some point, as wth Zoro's fight with him, King will move into speed mode to attack Sanji, which gives up his durability mode. The moment he does that Sanji completely wins, as he is much faster. Sanji is essentially King, but better in almost every aspect, without the same limitations.

Something about Marco that people forget is that he did not fully block kizaru’s attack. He had chunks of his face and body missing after blocking it but survived due to his regen. Most of his feats against the admirals were hitting them off guard(aokiji) or fighting them while they’re not trying(kizaru) he couldn’t even hit akainu with vista while he was on guard.
First of all Kizaru was trying but his haki wasn't enough to hurt him. He even needed help from a vice admiral(who caught Marco off guard) to shut him down. The admirals have advanced observation haki (and advanced armament)and it was shown Aokiji using it against Jozu and Akainu against Vista and Marco to bypass haki attacks.
people forget how much trouble zoro had against king. King was literally playing the whole fight and only gave zoro a chance by going down on the ground instead of using his devil fruit abilities. Marco wasn't able to damage base queen, while awakened Sanji beat hybrid queen with a single hell memories 2 diable jambe regular kicks and an ifrit combo. Which means Sanji hits harder than marco. Again base queen could perceive marco in his current strongest form, but in his hybrid form he couldn't even see Sanji. So Sanji is way faster than marco. With exoskeleton Sanji isn't taking any serious damage from marco + he could regenerate anyway. Marco's regen is draining and he would be out of juice after stalling for a while. Also wdym zoro was demolished by king ? Once zoro awakened he legit landed 3 hits and won. Zoro beats marco too and it's not close imo.

I'm just confused by the speed argument, since Queen was still able to hit Sanji even after his awakening. The panels are even shown in 07:46. So clearly, the only time Queen's unable to hit Sanji is when he goes into superspeed mode, which also severely depletes his stamina.

Right now, it is a little underrated, I've read a lot of comments saying King High diff Marco, Sanji mid diff... It's like they forgot he's a retired pirate and his feats in Marineford taking shots from Kizaru being handcuffed
Zoro is too slow for Katakuri and too predictable too. Zoro has to use massive aoe in order to get at Katakuri not to mention Katakuri mastery with his trident. Zoro has the strength over katakuri or the hack and slash but future sight can make Katakuri negate a lot of Zoro's move before they happen. The only moves that should work would be things like rengoku onigiri kokoujo o tatsumaki cause these are the fastest and larges aoe moves he has. But up close he cant keep with Katakuri cause so far Zoro never showed a speed feat capable of keeping up with Snakeman luffy. Zoro showed immense strength feats but non of them speedy. In fact his lack of mobility was shown to be a weakness from Pica till now.

@@romels comparing like this is quite fradulent because snakeman Luffy in WCI will clap Zoro in speed. Zoro has shown time and time again that when it comes to mobility he lacks. He will keeo tanking hits without being able to dish some back. He cant keep up with current Sanji and the only reason he kept up with King is cause King came at him with a big ass attack. He showed this against Kaido and against King. He excels in dishing damage when he can get his hands on you but if you're too quick for him his options while there are limited and when you're Katakuri can see through his moves and interrupt them not to mention ground him to death with mochi and make his moves clunky as heck. Once he can get a clean shot on Katakuri then yes he will deal damage but to get to that point for Zoro is unsupported by any of the feats in his fights. His only speedy move needs to be from way up close. Not to mention all Zoro slashes will just be predicted snd Katakuri will make openings in his body the only real threatening move is Tatsumaki csuse thats a continuous cyclone of blades. The argument Sanji destroyed Queen doesn’t really work, because Marco was kicking King and Queen around like footballs. Saying Marco wouldn’t percieve Sanji all rests upon you thinking Marco’s Observation Haki is equally as useless as Queen’s. Which just isn’t the case. You need to be super powerful to demolish a Yonko Commander. Let alone if you yourself is a Yonko Commander. Sanji is the current Left Hand of of an Emperor and the Future Pirate King. Marco is the former Right Hand of the greatest of the 4 Emperors who low key filled the role of Pirate King after Roger. Take Kaido’s first fight with Gear 4th Luffy. Luffy got one-shot. But this is King of the Beasts Kaido, the Strongest Creature. Another high Yonko Commander is not gonna destroy another in a fair fight. Let's not forget. There's limit to Marco's regen. It all depends on the user's stamina. Sanji's regen as of now, had never been stated to be dependent of his stamina.

I was just about to post some really large text about this kind of comparisons, but instead I'm going simple. In One Piece, the ones who win are those the author wants them to. The essential rules of powers are modified so the protagonist and his nakamas can win. This is no JJK or HXH where the characters adapt to the rules and have to work with and within them so the fights can have more than one possible outcome.
I think Marco is a little underrated, I've read a lot of comments saying King High diff Marco, Sanji mid diff... It's like they forgot he's a retired pirate and his feats in Marineford taking shots from Kizaru being handcuffed...

I'd have to disagree, from a portrayal perpective Sanju just isn't over Marko just yet. When the gorosei thought of who could beat BB and take the yonkou spot, they had their money on Marko, he lost sure, but still. If luffy and zoro disapear and sanji takes over from there, the gorosei just wouldn't give sanji the almost yonkou status like they did with Sanji. That's basically my whole argument. It's like saying sanji can beat a first commander, like Katakury, who only lost because of luffy's weird movements and because of how durable he is, sanji's speed is negated by his future site, and he won't even be able to hit him, Kat's attack speed is equal to snack mans, and even Kaido was having problems with that attack speed, and needed future site to COUNTER the speed of the attacks.

Katakuri said if Big Mom doesn’t get the cake WCI was doomed and maybe even worse. When Pudding said she’d make it Peros says you’re our saviour. Big Mom can solo her entire crew yet Marco was bringing it 1v1. Zoro and Sanji are close but it’s like saying Luffy can beat Shanks right now or that Luffy vs Shanks is one sided. Queen said, "That wasn't haki, was it?", when the sword shattered on Sanji's skin, implying that the sword would have only shattered if Sanji had used haki to block. But it was his bare skin. Therefore, if Sanji uses his armament haki, his durability is literally 2 full layers of haki, which is nuts...

Feel like Sanji has more agility and striking mobility. A lot of Marcos’ kicking power comes from linear run-up (or more specifically charged fly-in). Meanwhile sanji’s running agility and moonwalk allow him to make sudden directional changes and still generate power. Sanji can do charges up linear movements the same as Marco but he’s got multilateral offense

Ifrit Jambe was made to burn through even the toughest robot enhanced, ancient zoan, with armament haki in seconds. King's durability would literally mean very little in the face of Ifrit Jambe. But even if we humor that King is more durable still, his durability form is when King is still SLOW. At some point, as wth Zoro's fight with him, King will move into speed mode to attack Sanji, which gives up his durability mode. The moment he does that Sanji completely wins, as he is much faster. Sanji is essentially King, but better in almost every aspect, without the same limitations.

Something about Marco that people forget is that he did not fully block kizaru’s attack. He had chunks of his face and body missing after blocking it but survived due to his regen. Most of his feats against the admirals were hitting them off guard(aokiji) or fighting them while they’re not trying(kizaru) he couldn’t even hit akainu with vista while he was on guard.
First of all Kizaru was trying but his haki wasn't enough to hurt him. He even needed help from a vice admiral(who caught Marco off guard) to shut him down. The admirals have advanced observation haki (and advanced armament)and it was shown Aokiji using it against Jozu and Akainu against Vista and Marco to bypass haki attacks.

They met at the end of chapter 992 and fought off panel 993-994. The scale of the clash we see in 995 is massive and he K.O.ed all her souls prompting her to ask for outside assistance in an attempt to deal damage. Then she runs away when that fails. Katakuri said if Big Mom doesn’t get the cake WCI was doomed and maybe even worse. When Pudding said she’d make it Peros says you’re our saviour. Big Mom can solo her entire crew yet Marco was bringing it 1v1. Zoro and Sanji are close but it’s like saying Luffy can beat Shanks right now or that Luffy vs Shanks is one sided. They’re not quite there yet

Zoro is too slow for Katakuri and too predictable too. Zoro has to use massive aoe in order to get at Katakuri not to mention Katakuri mastery with his trident.
Zoro has the strength over katakuri or the hack and slash but future sight can make Katakuri negate a lot of Zoro's move before they happen. The only moves that should work would be things like rengoku onigiri kokoujo o tatsumaki cause these are the fastest and larges aoe moves he has. But up close he cant keep with Katakuri cause so far Zoro never showed a speed feat capable of keeping up with Snakeman luffy.
Zoro showed immense strength feats but non of them speedy. In fact his lack of mobility was shown to be a weakness from Pica till now.

He cant keep up with current Sanji and the only reason he kept up with King is cause King came at him with a big ass attack. He showed this against Kaido and against King.
He excels in dishing damage when he can get his hands on you but if you're too quick for him his options while there are limited and when you're Katakuri can see through his moves and interrupt them not to mention ground him to death with mochi and make his moves clunky as heck.
Once he can get a clean shot on Katakuri then yes he will deal damage but to get to that point for Zoro is unsupported by any of the feats in his fights. His only speedy move needs to be from way up close.
Not to mention all Zoro slashes will just be predicted snd Katakuri will make openings in his body the only real threatening move is Tatsumaki csuse thats a continuous cyclone of blades.

Let's not forget. There's limit to Marco's regen. It all depends on the user's stamina. Sanji's regen as of now, had never been stated to be dependent of his stamina.

I was just about to post some really large text about this kind of comparisons, but instead I'm going simple. In One Piece, the ones who win are those the author wants them to. The essential rules of powers are modified so the protagonist and his nakamas can win. This is no JJK or HXH where the characters adapt to the rules and have to work with and within them so the fights can have more than one possible outcome.

I think Marco is a little underrated, I've read a lot of comments saying King High diff Marco, Sanji mid diff... It's like they forgot he's a retired pirate and his feats in Marineford taking shots from Kizaru being handcuffed...

I'd have to disagree, from a portrayal perpective Sanju just isn't over Marko just yet.
When the gorosei thought of who could beat BB and take the yonkou spot, they had their money on Marko, he lost sure, but still.
If luffy and zoro disapear and sanji takes over from there, the gorosei just wouldn't give sanji the almost yonkou status like they did with Sanji.
That's basically my whole argument.
It's like saying sanji can beat a first commander, like Katakury, who only lost because of luffy's weird movements and because of how durable he is, sanji's speed is negated by his future site, and he won't even be able to hit him, Kat's attack speed is equal to snack mans, and even Kaido was having problems with that attack speed, and needed future site to COUNTER the speed of the attacks.
