Hey Laura, just sharing my top tips for keeping a leg elevated while working. Grab a cheap kids office chair and take off the back and you get a comfortable height-adjustable leg rest that's on wheels. Perfect to get comfortable while working. And for relaxing grab a beanbag - they conform to the shape of the leg and are so much better than pillows.
I broke my leg the same way like your mom did a month before she did. Wearing cute dresses like she has on makes life so much easier when you have a boot! She looks beautiful, as do you, Laura! Thank you both for your joy and passion in all you do!

How fun! And so pretty! Statice is so easy to grow and keeps its color for a long time, the wreaths are beautiful! Years ago I had a very large basket that I placed in front of my fireplace to help hide the “ash hole” as I used to call it lol I grew Baby’s Breath and Statice to fill it and also added dried Hydrangeas! It was really pretty 🥰
They look amazing and Susan is definitely a treasure…she’s getting around on that Zimmer frame like a champ…great to see you both enjoying this time together and having fun…🥰🇦🇺

To be honest I wasn’t sure if I would be able to watch this video. But while hearing your laughter and joy, I found myself smiling. Thank you for sharing what seems like a small project or part of your day to day together. These are little moments that we really hold onto.

You mother is SUCH a sweet person and I do TOTALLY empathize with her situation. A few years back I experienced a terrible break on one of my ankles, it took a very long time to heal as I was in my mid sixties then. I had to stay off my feet for three months during which I thought I’d lose my mind-lol. Actually nothing about it was funny to say the least. I’m 70 now, I think your Mom must be in her 40’s. She is definitely a star! I am also a lefty and had a small widows peak when I was young. My daughter’s husband is active military, so she has spent several years living away from me. I do miss her company but I admire my son-in-law, he is a good man, husband and father, so I cope with it. She is my only daughter, my son isn’t well and does not interact with the family or myself. I always love watching the two of you sharing experiences together, it actually helps me cope. You are blessed, it’s wonderful to see! Thank You Both for sharing so generously 😊

The other day only 76 but 78% humidity so still just so uncomfortable. BUT my hibiscus bush thrives as do many other plants. You inspire me each day, thank you.

So glad to see Mom! Love to see her up and out. I just have to laugh every time you mention how hard it is to live in humidity! I live in Chicagoland area and it is humid most of the summer! The other day only 76 but 78% humidity so still just so uncomfortable. BUT my hibiscus bush thrives as do many other plants. You inspire me each day, thank you.

So glad and thankful that you, Susan could get out a little bit to do this beautiful and fun project with Laura and away from your own surroundings. So important when you are healing. I bet you slept the whole rest of the day. I know I would've. The wreaths are beautiful and look beautiful at your home. And the music with your walker stroll was magnificent. Oh my goodness! Those wreaths are gorgeous! I am so envious … I have zero floral arranging talents. I love how special your relationship with your mom is. My mom and I were very close too. I hope you don’t mind, I’m living vicariously through you at this point because my Mom has been gone for 12+ years. You both make my heart happy!
