Finally a good review on guy, so with armorset, it comes from an elder dragon (elder dragons are some of the strongest monsters in the game) called malzeno.
Malzeno’s whole gimmick is being a vampiric dragon, as you fight the monsters he’ll essentially throw flying leaches at you, which will drain your hp and will do 1 of 2 things for malzeno will gain some hp, and if enough builds up he will basically go into a berserk state.
The armor that you get after hunting him enough times has a similar effect where the more damage you do to a monster the more health you’ll recover, and if you’re aggressive enough you’re character does more damage and can regenerate faster (this skill can only be gained with malzeno)
And lastly the wire bug is exclusively apart of monster hunter rise, it has multiple functions, and it works similarly to Spider-Man’s web, it lets players the player dodge attacks, it can let player leap in the air, it can be used to preform special attacks, and can even let you ride a dragon.
Monster hunter rise is one of my personal favorite games, I highly recommend it because unlike past entries the game play is much faster, and if you have enough money sunbreak adds so much more to the story. (Also malzeno has a really cool theme called scarlet feast)
