    Salute and respect to this man. You can tell it was a bit of a tough deal to talk about the pilots he learned about that were killed.

    Its still odd as a former soldier in the army to hear how pilots can meet and joke and laugh. But I have heard the same FROM. WWII army vets.. it was a very different war for me and my generation.

      The Late Commander Genda and LT Fuchida were friends with several Pearl Harbor survivors. Adolf Galland and Erich Hartman were friends with some Spitfire and Mustang pilots. Time heals wounds.
