Excellent interview. I had been waiting a long time for this to happen. Glad I had some quiet time to really absorb the whole thing. Met Chuck a few times over the years and this interview reminded me of my feelings each time I was in his presence. I just sat there and listened. I couldn’t think of any question to ask. Great interview with Carlton Douglas Ridenhour from Roosevelt Strong Island, who hosted a radio show at Adelphi University. He and William Jonathan Drayton Jr. met on campus and received much of their early knowledge from Ujima Jame. When my book Harlem Son was published Chuck had me on his radio show, and my sales went through the roof, and I was able to retire. May God continue to bless this wonderful, talented brother.
