imo, half of Repack sellers exist to dump their collection to retain 80-100% of individual card value. Ever sold a massive collection before, all in one lot? You're looking at a 40-60% return.

Anyways. last week's thursday I paid 30 euros for an Amonkhet toolkit, remains of a Izzet vs Golgari duel deck, a highlander deck(mainly uncommons and commons) and some singles from Mystery boosters. Got my money back quite nicely, but some of the high-end cards like Sunder from Urza's saga and Life from the loam had certainly seen play. Condition was Good/Excellent but as it's not Mint/Near Mint, it's always a small chunk off the price when selling or trading. Nonetheless, got some cool stuff for decks and over 20 euros in store credit I used this week to build a Rakdos sacrifice EDH deck
You inspired me to buy some repacks, the taboo side of mtg. I spent $63 on 7 packs from various ebay sellers, and my first pack I pulled an Aluren. Paid for all my packs plus some. The rest were doodie as expected.
I'd be happy to spend $20-$30 on prerelease cards you had duplicates of. Don't even have to be of value, I love the date stamped cards and I had to sell my whole collection back in 2018 for bulk price. Just getting into commander builds!!
Joey, you did better than you would have done with $200 worth of virtually any non-repack packs of Magic. Open a $200 booster box. You statistically won't do as well.

The only way to get the full value back is to keep the 10-20$ cards and then make a repack of your own 🤣
