Percussionist vs drummers. Clean vs noise. MDFS wins like always.
MDFS just too clean man. Shoutout to them boys.
Of course NSU is going to have the better drumline! I knew this before clicking on this video. I like NSU's Drum Corps mixed with show band approach. Such combination will always win unless there's another drumline that does the same thing like NC A&T!! BTW, NSU is clean with 14 snares!!

This needed to happen the clarity and sound that nsu brings is really unmatched tsu just loud couldn’t understand anything MDFS hands down the best hbcu drum line .

This is like a college line going up against a high school line. MDFS is just too good, this isn’t a fair exchange.
More like a Real Show style line vs a Corp style line.. MDFS is good but they not funky entertaining nor creative like real show style lines should be. They good but they boring. The only reason people like em is because they are a majority African American line doing what haters and racist said couldn’t be done.. They not a showstyle line. They just a line that can play with no icing and no nothing on the cake.. Tnsu waxed them..

You are hilarious. You obviously know nothing about The Legion and the many accolades and honors they have received. MDF$ is recognized all over the world as well as the entire band. Better question; why did TSU have a hard time?!? The Spartan Legion vs anybody is a win for the Legion always.

Tnsu with the W💯🔥 I love that classic HBCU sound they got. Nsu is good corp line. We can always say we got MDFS when arguing with dci folks.
LOL NOTHING that TnSU played matched the difficulty of even their warm-ups. MDFS is a great PERCUSSION line. Just be glad this wasn't on your home campus where they could have blocked right on the 50 cuz it would not have been pretty at all. I've seen them play against Alabama A&M last year and it was high schoolish at best. You tell some DCI folks that you beat MD and show them this video and they will laugh you out of the universe. Stick heights were all over the place, bass drums were dominating the entire line and what was played wasn't clean, at all. But I can't wait to see that line's clinic at PASIC at some point in the future, IF THEY EVER GET AN INVITE.
Mdfs is not a corps line at all.... tsu is no competition so mdfs started f-in with them by playing warm-ups lmmfao..... there is no hbcu drum line f-in mdfs. Not even close.

MDF$ literally ran 2 maybe 3 real cadences everything else was warmups and tsu still couldn't run with them all you hear from tsu is basses and they not messing with nsu at all.

This is tough to hear from the stands, if we are judging on bass drum volume only than TSU, but this is like hearing something on Bose vs JBL. I think if they were head to head on the field it would have been a better battle.
I like how the Spartan Guard escorts the band members and dance team when they leave their sitting area.
