During Wings you confused J-Hope for Jimin. J-Hope has a lower register and raps. Jimin has the higher register. I understand the confusion. They were both blond.

The beauty of this performance is that Room except for Save Me is essentially a collection of B sides. Despite some fantastic feature tracks, ARMY is well aware BTS never seems to slouch in quality. Some of their absolute best works are B sides. I have only encountered a few B sides that another group might not comfortably use as a feature.
It was a medley of songs through their 10 years! They do performances like this sometimes where it’s medleys.
They survived training together years before they ever debuted and that included cutting their friends. So they have been through a "bootcamp", it created a familial bond. I think it is just one of the things that makes them so special.😘💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
The one rap song that I think you loved is Ugh.
9:45 they themselves said the same thing, that it is crazy that seven people who are so fundamentally different with so different backgrounds, so different personalities and taste in music found each other and actually developed this unusual bond that is not at all common in groups like this. they actually consider each other closer than family. And I think that is thanks to a) a very unusual situation with them living together for over a decade in their formative years sharing not just one apartment but rooms and beds b) them being signed under a very unusual company in kpop that placed such an emphasis on artist well being and team building and sincere creative expression but b) a huge stroke of plain luck. when BTS label CEO was asked that was his answer. he could tout his own horn but he had not much more to say than that it was a giant stroke of luck, the right people the right circumstances.
Timing is everything, so this statement is so true: "the right people the right circumstances."
This was a medley of their B-SIDE tracks; one from each album in order off of their full length albums from their debut "2 Cool for Skool" in (2013) to their last album (at the time) BE (2020). Don't forget to turn on the subtitles. Their lyrics are why so many of us love them so much.

Love your reactions! Since you've listened to RM and Suga's solo work, it'd be really cool to see you react to some of J-Hope's solo work as well (to complete the rap line). He recently came out with a solo album ("Jack in the Box"), with the title tracks being 'Arson' and 'More'. Not sure if it'll be your thing, but I'd love to get your reaction! (He also performed at Lollapalooza if you ever wanted to see a live performance of any of his songs, though it is over an hour long).

rapline songs are extremely meaningful..please checkout 'UGH', 'Ddang' along with explained videos by dkDktv.. CYPHER MEDLEY 2017 is another good one..
If you want to continue to be surprised by j-hope (although I'm not sure you were thinking of the right person during "Wings"), you should listen to his new album "Jack in the Box," and even better watch his Lollapalooza concert from earlier this summer (July 31st, to be exact). The full concert is available on the BANGTANTV channel. He generated more ticket sales than any other artist in Lollapalooza history (per the festival itself), and he was the first Korean artist to headline a major US music festival in history as well.
Watching this made me so happy just seeing my boys smile and having fun, it also showed me why I loved all the songs that they performed.
Also Jimin was defo the pies piper during the performance as he just hypnotized me and I couldn't keep my eyes of off him (also I might be biased saying that as he is my ult bias)

Black Swan was the first song of theirs I listened to and I had some really bad biases, but also didn't find the song appealing. Please don't watch the video for it that I made.

when I first got into BTS it took me weeks to identify them which seems so strange to me now cause they look and act so distinctive, but way back I would watch videos and pause them and try to identify everyone and it was a struggle - for some reason. but I think you always have that with groups of people in one age group, same ethnicity, same style, similar hair etc. like when I'm asked to identify members of a 90s rap group I will struggle, same with metal bands.
Hi PS! I know you love rap so you should know RM featured on Balming Tiger's latest track SEXY NUKIM, released 1st Sept. It is a trip! Some seem to love it immediately like me, some after 2 or 3 listens. The beat is 🔥. Balming Tiger is a collective rather than a group, I will let you Google it! Since you liked ugh you should react to the whole song as well as ugh explained by a Korean by dkdktv. Maybe ddaeng as well, and again, explained by a Korean as well lol. Both are by the rap line and the wordplay is amazing, but there are lots of Korean references so dkdktv would be helpful. Maybe baepsae, not today, and outro tear (live for outro tear pls!) A medley of songs is actually quite common in the music world. This is a really fun one and a favorite with Army. J-hope who you pointed out is actually one of the three rappers.
Have you ever watched "Guide to BTS: The Bangtan 7" by Taylor? You would really enjoy it and learn a lot about the members and how BTS came to be. They did not "find each other" as you mentioned. It would make a great reaction. Army doesn't care if it's longer than your usual reactions, since most of us have watched it many times, lol!!! 💜

As I think from watching your videos you appreciate lyricism, it might be worth checking out dkdktv - it's a youtube channel that provides some insight and explanation to some of BTS' song lyrics as a lot of times word play and meaning gets somewhat lost in translation. I reacted to the first one because I was interested and didn't know them well. The fans were so passionate I kept listening. I find a lot of there music a little too pop for me, but I love their rapping and overall skill and message. I don't really care about how many views I get, but if people want to see me react to BTS, I am happy to listen to them!
