Liam had been trending on Twitter a lot these past few weeks with negative and ridiculing posts gaining thousands of likes against him. It is all so reminiscent of Caroline Flack. Yesterday evening I saw Liam trending again and the first thing I said was ‘oh that’s pathetic, his trolls and haters think it’s funny to spread RIP and pretend Liam’s died.’ Completely shocked, but shocked mixed with sadness because someone so vulnerable wasn’t treated with any compassion in the lead up to his tragic death. Much love to everyone ❤

Good morning, from Cornwall, a terrible shock to learn about this last night. as with most TV stars we feel like we knew them but we don't really but the lines are blurred, we watched the band form on XFactor much like Sarah Harding/Girls Aloud. Feeling extremely heavy, sad and upset today. :(

My daughter is 22 and at uni living on her own. I called her so she wouldn't be alone when she heard the news and we could talk to her about her 1d memories as a family. Even her brother was sympathetic 💔

Sad anyone dying early influenced by drug use. I think his move to America in hindsight was a mistake. There are far more enablers there than in the UK close to family.

Such a tragic loss, I feel so so sad for his poor young son and family. He grew up near me and seemed like a sweet and down to earth person, I think it’s another sad case of experiencing young fame

I wasn’t a huge One Direction fan but followed their story and the boys. I definitely didn’t expect something like this to happen to Liam of all the members. This is going to hugely affect many people. It’s shook me and I’m not a massive fan (as I say) or of that generation. Such a shock and so tragic 😞

I don’t think he was in the right mind set it’s so sad. Especially someone so young. Like he was only 4 years younger than me. I’ve lost a few friends to cancer at a young age who didn’t get to age 25

Don’t Take things for granted if you haven’t told someone you love and appreciate them do it and be thankful for being healthy alive and TO BE KIND AND EMPATHETIC TOWARDS THOSE SUFFERING FROM MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES, DEPRESSION AND ADDICTION👍🏻❤️. The industry needs to change we’ve lost too many good ones to Mental Health issues and Depression For Young Celebs their needs to be Support for Young celebs that are suffering from Mental Health issues or Depression ENOUGH IS ENOUGH ITS NOT HARD TO BE EMPATHETIC AND KIND TOWARDS OTHERS AND BULLYING AND ONLINE BULLYING NEEDS TO BE STOPED IF YOU SEE SOMEONE BEING BULLIED SPEAK UP ESPECIALLY IN SCHOOLS OR YOUR WORKPLACE. JUST BE KIND AND EMPATHETIC DON’T JUDGE OTHERS JUST BE KIND .❤🥹👍🏻
