Australia has the largest (and best quality) wild camels in the world. We actually export some of them to the Middle East. They were brought here by Afghan Camel Drivers to take supplies across the interior of the country in the days before there were good, permanent roads and good trucks. When they were no longer needed, they just let the camels go wild. There is a passenger train that runs between Adelaide in South Australia to Darwin in the Northern Territory (south to north of the country) and it is called The Ghan, in honour of the Afghan camel drivers.
No mate, you don't have to travel the world, Australia has it all. We're a huge continent, an island with a massive coast, with beaches all the way around us.
