I'm so glad you've given the C3 a fair chance, unlike most journalists who think every road is a race track, therefore every car needs to be sporty to drive with zero comfort. I value the opposite. Comfort and nice looks in and out.
So I ended up testing the C3 and absolutely loved it. It's VERY comfortable for it's segment, has decent performance and for it's price, there's no better option with automatic gearbox.
In short, bought one. Shine model with 1.2 110hp, auto gearbox, almond green color with black roof and black rims. Same interior as your test model, metropolitan grey.
Citroen also has some very nice discounts every month. The hardest part now is...waiting. 4 months to be more precise. Sheesh!
So again, thank you! You practically sold me the car :).

Rafael do you have free hands to open the car doors? I wonder if the start/stop button to start the engine only exists if you choose the free hands option. Also, how are you enjoying the car so far?
Thank you so much for the video.. Today I went to the car dealer to test drive the Citroën C3 (82HP) and I really loved it. All I have to do is wait for it to arrive (I bought the 2020 model "Feel edition".
I've had this car for a year. It's the 1.2 liter without the turbo. I have to say it is so fun and easy to drive. You've made an amazing review I don't think I have anything to add just that it's super fun and a true head turner. I have the black with the white roof version btw

SeljD Mate, I remembered the license plates, plus I saw 2 of them in the same day at two different locations in about 20 minute time. Basing on my calculations there is no possibility that the same car could have gotten to the other place where I saw the other car at in that time interval. So yeah...

I always love French design in affordable cars. Citroen, Peugeot and Renault all make unique and daring exteriors and interiors. Maybe Renault a little less daring interior wise but still nice looking for the price.

I recently hired a C3 1.2 82bhp courtesy car. I drove it down the A1 at 70mph&was very stable. When moving off the engine sound reminded me of the 2CV.
I wish we could see Citroen and Peugeot in North America, I really like their cars

We hired one on holiday and it got taken through bumpy roads, up and down steep hills and up the biggest mountain in Kefalonia. I was very impressed with this viehcle, the suspension is extremely comfortable after driving mainly sporty cars for years. I felt safe in this car, even though its built light. The space in the front is alot better than my Q5 V6. I've ditched the Audi and looking fowards to better fuel economy and a smoother drive. I thought my Golf DSG was smooth but this EAT6 gearbox and 1.2 petrol knocks spots off it. I'm looking fowards to getting it the next few days and great little car for my partner to learn in. Small with a reverse cam, we had no Pan roof on the hire one but the one I've ordered does. I've went for White with black roof and trim. My football colours.

Saw this car in the flesh a the other day, looks not as cheap as it is here in this video. (which is a great review once again). The car is quirky and fun imho.

They provide you with a good engine and a bit neat luxury inside. They are good cars, build quality could be a little bit better though. I really love them. I only miss the C2 sized cars.
I went on a test drive exactly with this engine/gearbox combination and this is pretty fast :)

Great video, many thanks Thomas. 14:29 was that estate car under-taking at high speed in the rain at an on-ramp! 18:43 nice sound effects, also at 21:14! BLIS indicator on mirror is small and hardly seen in rain, and Citroen website says it "works on the same principle as the reversing sensors" - ie not radar, limiting range? Can't understand German law re the dashcam! I think a good dashcam can be quite useful!

As much as I don't like diesels, I would buy the 100hp diesel version of this one.
I like the power output of this engine, but it is only available with an automatic. The ones available with manuals are weaker.
The 100hp diesel has a manual so that would really be my only option.
It's a shame because I really like this car. I know some people say it's a woman's car, but I don't mind. I would own one of these.

I bought C3 100 HP BlueHDI Diesel Manual gearbox, white and red color, interior red and black in 22 December 2016. Fuel consumption 90km/h with cruise control 3.0 lt, 120km 3,8lt, 140km 4.6 lt... Top speed 205km. Gearbox not good but 254 torque very good. You can use connected cam for videos and photos very useful. Better then other B class cars.

Kobbetop u know they are in difficult situation in term of economy especially since they divided DS and Citroën which were expensive...
The automatic gear box is only a bit rough when shifting down from 3rd to 2nd gear espacialy when you have to break in a turn but otherwise I think they did a pretty decent job on the 6 gear automatics in the new Citreons, just wish it'd shift up to the 5th gear when driving constantly at 70kph xD
Taking Fiat's ( Panda ) "squircle" theme to new heights. Car looks really special, unique and likable. Cozy front cabin with nice aesthetics.. those chair looks oh so lounge comfy. Gearshift at first looks like a manual until you see the diagram ( should and needs to be lit up since they are very tiny and at a distance - a cause of misjudging what gear your on and in turn accidents ). Pity Citroen did not do more with the rear seating/cargo area. ( 16:12 - like thumping your fingers on the plastics with the turn signals Thomas? )

Do people really change the temperature inside the car that often? I put it at 20 in summer and 22 in winter on both my cars, other then that I never touch it.
yeah when u always leave it at 22 with A/C on it is not that big of a deal
But turning down /up the fan is much more often.

I own a c3 from 07.2009 and it is just... cheap. The AC is extremely loud, sound insolation does not exist, motor is weak, build quality is awful, sitting position uncomfortable. Still, it has something special. I just hope the new ones do not break so easily.
You realize this is a new car? also, you buy a cheap car, complain about it being cheap? If you want to have a more premium feeling, you need to pay extra, you get what you pay for
Here they are reviewing the 2018 and if you listened to this video you must realize they are talking about a very different car then the one you have!

How about bubble wrap? You can also glue bubble wrap around your car. Looks the same in my eyes and it's much cheaper.
Odd looking exterior design, especially the 6 lights orientation. Reminds me of a spider. Having the head light the same size as the lower driving lights appears very bland. Wot!!! No "P.I.U.Y" tagline? That's criminal. Ha.
