Well, yes and no. To get your first pull ups leg assisted pull ups will help, but you better off doing negatives because the intensity is much higher then the assisted one.
@Eran Blecher negatives refers to the lowering portion of the pull-up - so get up to the top of the pull up somehow (jump up or use a platform or something) then lower down under control.

I think this much better than the pull up machine. The results are faster than with the machine.. I can so two sets of 25 on my trx routine.
Looks good, the trx system in my gym uses wall mountings, can this be adapted to work with them?

called rabbit ears,pull strap to shortest length,then hold one buckle down as you loop it thru making it shorter!Hope that helps
