I really love leauge vs. dota debate. For any other games, people would be giving arguments why their's game is better. But when comparing these two, it's about which game sucks more. I had a friend in high school who played dota, and we were always arguing which game sucked more dick and convincing each other to never try dota/leauge.
Yeah, pretty much everyone in both communities knows that these rabbits' oles are toxic, unescapable wastepits with way too steep learning curves, nonexistent balancing, and poor matchmaking. We are united in agreeing that everyone would be better off not playing either of them.
Dota is LoL cranked to the max. In LoL your champ is a complete kit. In dota your hero often lacks something and you fill this gap with items, like blink dagger. So in lol you get gradually stronger. In dota you have giant power spikes from certain levels and certain items, while you're just meh in between. Dota gives you many more options to win the lane and win the game. In lol it's more rinse and repeat game after game. I think dota requires too much commitment for new players and I probably wouldn't have touched it if I didn't start years ago
I honestly think that either can be better, people are just too unaware or blinded by their ego that they aren't able to realize that it doesn't matter in the end, as long as the person is enjoying the game then that should really be enough. I played Dota for 3 years and I played League for 10+ years, you'd assume I'd side with league but that's not the case. There are some parts where Dota 2 shines more(Tournament prize pools) and there are parts that league shines more.(Vierwership) But in the end of the day, I think we could spend our time more productively instead of debating meaningless discussions. I'm not saying this video is a waste of work. In fact, this is a really great video for people to be aware why there's a debate between Dota and League. It's so easy to get lost in the comment section and get mad at people, but it's really hard to be aware and catch yourself from not wasting your time in engaging with petty debates with strangers over the internet. (You should be doing something right now or could be doing something more productive or relaxing.) "Your game is trash and my game is better!" Sounds like a very insecure person who aren't satisfied with their life's situation and choose to escape on the internet.
I don't think escaping is necessarily bad. Obviously, fighting isn't productive, but I think video games debates are overall pretty harmless and can even aid in distracting from how shit life can be(if its not taken personally). For me, the video wasn't for the debate, it was a way for me to practice skills, like editing or persuasive writing.
Dota new player experience is vs bots which league also has AI versus Bots. what you did in league playing versus players is what happens if you do dota normal all pick and play pubs versus people with 1000s of games which is what i did last christmas so its rough for like 10-40 games till you tank your mmr and depending on your skill level from other mobas.
in league u have like 10 free champions who rotate so you didnt have to only play mf. But yea tutorial is garbage and riot knows it aswel they are just too lazy to make a better one
good video. just a tip, i dont know if you noticed but league has a few champions every week that are free to play. so you can try out some others but some of them might be more difficult
for me dota visual clarity is still super bad after 12 years or so; graphic looks "better" but its actually super way worse and movment is clanky, both games are great and it depends only which one you picked to play, but yea LoL is super not beginner friendly, if u dont play League regularly u will suffer, dota is for sure way better for new people, thats why new people on league eather play with friends or play tft :P
Watch it from beginning to yhe end I would say played both games and believe me Dota is more skill demanding than LoL for 1-2months you can reach the hight rank in LoL but with Dota it takes years and you dtill feel like a noob With the new patch of Dota 7.36 everyone is back from the scratch

Yeah its interesting, I was expecting the comments to be a lot more hostile about which one is better

It is great that the addict does not promote their hard drug.
then it's settled
It all comes back to which company is managing the game. It's like Riot vs Valve, but Riot hates their customers.
i would hve been a league player if i didn’t play the dota warcraft mod…
Dota 2 is a comfort game

I didn't notice that. It's good that there's at least some way to try new champions
I subs, love to see you play more league till u get better 😆
Idk, man. There are already a bunch of games that I like more that also cause me mental harm. So I don't think I'm gonna play league again 😂
Fk league, glad I overcame the addiction 😅

With the new patch of Dota 7.36 everyone is back from the scratch
I’d heard what made DOTA hard was everything being unbalanced
@@SIRiDannyM nope when the patch came out or new patch 7.36 everything is unbalance but when sub patch e.i 7.36a b c will come out it will be balance
@@SIRiDannyM yea in dota everything is unbalanced. in unfun ways
@SIRiDannyM When everything is too OP, nothing is too OP
@@Astral0muffiN i compere it to league. Dota has a character that legit has range of halve the map.
