@LaylaCasteel yeah we had fun! And thank you! I love the Mission Inn at Christmas too! That was a must. And no!!! The night before was my birthday and we went out to dinner at a Thai restaurant. They got my order wrong and wound up giving me a dish with gluten in it and didn't say anything until after I had started eating it. So the next day I woke up feeling weird but still okay enough. We picked up our rental car and then started heading to Los Angeles and from there I just kept getting worse and worse all night. I had a migraine and kept throwing up but I still wanted to go to Universal. I threw up in the parking lot as soon as we got there and was in so much pain. We were at Universal Studios but I was miserable and just sat on a bench while Rudy and the kids looked in shops. After about an hour I told him I can't take any more of this so we went back to the hotel and called it a night. I had a gluten attack and it took me like a week to recover from it 😩 I wanted to go to the HP store so bad and the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium to get a vegan shake but we didn't get to do that
@ aww no I’m so sorry that happened to you!! Let me know when you come back so that we could plan something. It would be fun to go to Universal (or at least city walk) again. Also if there’s ever anything you want, I could pick it up next time I go and send it lol
@LaylaCasteel we'll be back in April for Cherise's wedding. I'm not sure the dates or how long we'll be there but we will be in LA at some point. After we purchase plane tickets and have our dates set, we're going to book tickets to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Pantages theater!! You should come! The performance is at night but earlier in the day I would also like to go back to Citywalk since I didn't get to enjoy it last time
