The way I have my setup is a bedroom on the 1st floor with a window behind the couch and a window on the side. I have shelving screwed above my 50 inch tv. 3 rows to store some of my dvds. Then I have small skinny media shelves on each side of my tv with more dvds. Then to my right wall a whole 4 rows of shelving screwed into the wall. Then a bookcase below it with dvds on that too. I actually have books and files in my bookcase. I have a Sony 5 speaker surround system which sounds great. The problem with my sound system is that my remote doesn't work properly. I think it's locked or something. So I have to get up to change the volume and change the sound settings. It's an old system, but it sounds great. Its a Sony SAVA-D900. I got it back in 2004 or something. The sound is so loud that the volume on 15 is very loud and it goes up to 50.
Oh wow. Very nice. I'm pretty behind on the technology. I got a 50 inch Sony Bravia in 2020 upgraded from a 32 inch Toshiba from around 2010 I guess. It's good enough for my eyes right now. When I first saw a blu ray movie on my Sony Bravia I was amazed. That movie was Malificent. So I guess I will see a whole other level when I eventually get a 4K tv.
Ok. I like the drinks on the shelf to the left of your tv, but I would still put movies on it instead. It's a small space, but it's very nice and inviting. Hey does your tv have any built in speakers or do you have to get a separate sound system?

It’s too deep for movies which would make it look weird. I think the bar is more inviting to the living room, but that’s just me.
Is it 65 inch?
No 85 inch.

I’ll have to check into that.
