Yes, I know I could do more gold box montages, and RTL, but if I do "mainstream" content, I wanna make it better than other videos, which means more effort. And then, if 3 days of nolife + so much time spent on editing ends up with 5k views :/ feels sad

@@raccoontickler7744 I understand why it's silly from your view, but buying gear had no point, the account most probably won't ever be used for anything else, and if I do, an extra million crystals is almost nothing these days, when a single combo + drone costs couple million. I already have almost fully maxed account, and it's unreasonable to grind for a second max one.
Moreover, a 0GS mk1 account at legend might be interesting content for a video, as it's a very rare sight.
After searching tanki online this was the first thing that TH-cam showed🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

it's impressive how they killed earning experience in tanki... When we had to earn 10-15xp a kill and now it's over 150 per kill with ultra weekends and premium
I sort of agree and sort of don't.
Agree it makes ranking up less and less special and rewarding and pushes players to legend rank within weeks, to make them buy in order to keep up with maxed out legend players.
However, without exp boost, this video would never be possible. I always wanted to break pavlitos record, but it turned out to be impossible without powerleveling.
I decided to stay with the game and enjoy doing what I want.
@@thegoldhunter you break pavlitos record but his video is mythical and made over a million view due to how hard is it compared to now. You just need 2/3 days free to get legend but congrats anyway
@@espoir7613 the difference is, pavlitos record wasn't possible without powerleveling, at least not within the in-game time he spent.
You can call it friends helping you, but it was simply impossible to do what he did at that time, in only public battles.
Yes, I spent no money, and only 3 days of nolifing, but it was done legit, within rules and solo. These are obviously not comparable.
I'm not saying it wasn't high effort, he really spent a lot of money and still had to spend crazy amount of time, and that video is still just a nostalgic part of tanki.

This old (non-MM) version is a lot better for fast experience gain, I tested it for just few battles and also counted possibly 60k+ exp/hour (in a legend battle). Maybe in low rank battle with less experienced players you could really get 70k+/hour

I am noob can someone explain what his strategy is? Is the flamethrower with the fast hull the best combo in the game? And why was he going for boxes?
If you never played tanki, it's obviously confusing and to be fair, quite a long explanation. :D
In short, no, this isn't the best gear, but it was done in a special event mode, available only couple days, where everyone was equipped the same tank and played on the same map. The couple clips at the start are a better representation, there are more gear options, more maps, etc.
Gold Boxes are just a bonus that sometimes drops, and whoever catches it gets some crystals, which can be used to purchase gear (this is just bonus, main way of earning crystals is mostly through finishing battles). I added it in to make the video more diverse - rankups, some purchases, gameplay, boxes.

They changed how theof tanks (skins) work. Modifications (now it's not M0 - M3, but Mk1 - Mk7) all look like old M3, and you can use skins like XT etc. to change how your tank looks. Old M0, M1 and M2 skins aren't in game now, maybe in the future they will add them.

Much respect but this shouldn’t be considered world record because you used promo codes for premium which doubles the speed of leveling up
I didn't claim it's "no buying", because I understand a promocode is still considered as a premium "gift" and premium can be only bought from shop... Wrong! :D There is a way to get premium for free, through creating an account on phone, where everyone gets 20 containers, from which you can open premium - all this for FREE.
Using a promo code isn't a reason to not call it world record, however I think an in-game time world record is already taken by someone else. I should still be holding a "fastest real-time rankup to legend" (under 3 days).

I don't really care about it being a world record, I'm well aware that it's possible to beat it, but it's still nice to hopefully hold the record at least for a bit. (at least the real-time spent record, the in-game time record has been beaten already I think)
