Mano, Tanki was like therapy for me, because when I started playing, in 2014 (at 9 years old) I was really in a difficult situation, because here in Brazil the economic crisis was at its peak and I was also suffering bullying in school, so Tanki served to make me forget about my daily difficulties and make friends who don't judge me for who I am ... every time the class ended at my school I would almost fly home and have lunch like crazy, just to play Tanki ... thanks for remember me the good part of my life...

Eu tenho um grande sentimento por esse jogo. Basicamente ele fez parte do melhores momentos na minha infância. Lembro da felicidade de pegar uma gold box, comprar m3, fazer um upgrade para m4, comprar kit, juntar cristais etc. Infelizmente só restam lembranças.

All that +Full MUs + overdrives + Drones + overpowered unbalanced weapons and other P2W elements = Disaster. Dying game.
I dont agree with the old days. Full drugging was a standard back then. I had a tough time finishing battles to scrimp my crystals into more drugs and stalling my progress for a very long time.
The game then was only fun if you had a lot of crystals, or supplies, because you drug, then win more crystals, repeat.
I'm also not saying that today's gameplay is that great, let alone perfect, but the old days had their own problems that people tend to forget.
The "kill with skill" was only true because everyone kept drugging to keep each other equal, which costs money especially for noobs. I've played since 2014 and my original account is extremely embarrassing because of the old days, and the crystals.

I definitely did. My heart was pumping and I tried my best to come up with a strategy to get it based on my surroundings. If it was very crowded around me I would try to climb on top of people lol. If it was sparse where the gold box was gonna drop then I would take cover from other people otherwise they shot and did damage to me before the gold dropped.
this game was honestly one of the most fun games i’ve ever played and had so much potential to stay at the top, but they started to change things up to much, by adding like robots or sum shit now and like gears that have certain protection instead of just paints, their was too much to buy for to much. Also everyone just abuses power ups in higher level to the point where it isn’t even fun. which leads to smurfing which i ended up doing cuz playing at higher levels started to become hell. Also the kits and stuff were a reasonable price and weren’t blatantly overpowered now you can get m1 and stuff way to early then u shluld be able to. u can’t grind anymore because ppl just buy and them buy gives them an advantage. The game became to money oriented and lost its fun. but it’ll always have a place in my heart. Thank you Tanki for the good times❤️

Tanki online started the p2w update when they released tanki x, since they paid alot of money for it and thought that it will be famous, but unfortunately there's not alot of players, so they had to recover the lost money from tanki online, the prove is that it started from 2016, and tanki started the p2w and they released tanki x
It all started from Micro Upgrades then removing paint protections and then introducing Modules a d other shits

This game went from 100k players a day to only about 5-7k. I can’t leave this game only because of how much it impacted me. It was my childhood. I remember watching the old tanki vlogs with Semyon. “Hello, Tankers” that part hit me hard. He left because he saw that this game was going to turn to p2w. I’m 14 now and I started playing this game when I was 4.

I still remember being a kid and collecting crystals and climbing the rankings before the reset. I spent my reset crystals so badly that I created a new account. This video will forever bring me back to the good old days.

Secret Rooms was actually the best part in the game, they needed to left them in a game, idk why they removed them.
@@Ringy345XXX the reason there aren't any secret rooms anymore is because they stopped doing ''the game'' event. I dont know when was the last time they did it, maybe 1 or 2 years ago, but they used to do it twice a year (at christmas and on tanki's birthday, if im not mistaken) and the secret rooms were part of these events because there would be clues in the rooms. the game made the 2 festivities even better simply because there were secret rooms, so even players who didnt participate in ''the game'' could explore them.
I remember that one time i entered polygon and the first thing that popped was gold box will drop soon while the loading screen was in my face i rushed up shooting blindly to only see an orange text saying that took the gold box ahh good times

Man this brought tears to my eyes legit I miss these days being 12-13 going to the library computer and playing for hours, didn’t have internet in are house till I was about 15. For reference I’m almost 20 now. Man I remember when you get a pint based on its prots it had like storm that had really op fire prot for early game when people would get m1 firebird. Or you save up to buy a kit like Titan and Smokey m1 with chain mail paint! Oh who remembers test severs you go on just to use m3s lol. Who remembers only getting OG xts in missions (Viking xt, Wasp xt, Hornet xt, Mammoth xt, Thunder xt, Railgun xt, and Firebird xt.)

What a good old days... I was playing this game every day when I was kid **cry**
I need a place to tell this story, what better than a TH-cam comment!
Everyday when I came home from school, me and my friend would play this game together. Hopping on the phone, joining battles, having fun. Our mothers constantly breathing down our necks to make sure we wouldn't stay on for too long. We both had our 'online-time-limits', about an hour on weekdays, 2 on the weekends. We screamed with excitement as we heard the infamous 'Gold-Box-Sirens'.
I remember there being a huge discount on the 'kits', I believe it was a firebird m2 + hornet m2 (and a paint + supplies, of course). I stayed in the same Serpuhov Battle for 2 hours just to collect crystal boxes in order to buy the kit, it was awesome.
The endless gold box compilations were awesome. Me and my friend would watch those, both being amazed at the skills of, for example, Jiangreo.
Watching the V-LOGs have helped massively in increasing my English vocabulary. Same goes for talking to all online friends in the game chat. I remember a new turret being announced, which looked awesome. A Gatling gun which could shoot even if you were out of ammo. In my notebook I drew out the new turret which my friend hadn't seen yet. No name was announced yet, we dubbed it: the Heavybomber. I still have the drawing to this day :)
When high school came around the game lost it's relevancy. We both grew out of it, to our shame.
Just last week me and said friend logged in on our joint-account, seeing what the game had become. We were disappointed. All the new features just detract from the experience. It felt good though, finally giving the 'Tanki Online Chapter' a proper ending.
Well, that's my experience with this golden game. Hope i made some people reading this story happy :)

Nostalgia! I started playing in 2014, my rank as Senior Lieutenant was blocked forever on March 4, 2016! Now there are a lot of stupid updates, because of this there is little online, etc. It was a good childhood game, I will remember all my life! Tanki Online R.I.P
I am very emotional watching this, this is the game that brought me into the gaming world when I was 6(12 now) and since then I have always had respect for this game, I still have it and remember the old days vividly, it will have many good and nostalgic memories for all of us even if it’s just pay to win now and many of us have moved on, it’s sad how much it has changed in a negative way but I will never forget it...
I remember when you left the game you would get so many crystals as a reward for coming back and that would just make me continue playing

The amount of time, money and effort I put into this game... I remember learning how to turn your turret properly. I loved this game so much while it was good. Until 2017 pretty much. I remember coming home and playing for hours every day. I put a few thousand hours into the game in 3 years. I finished top in about 95% of the games. I miss it.

I remember when i had first account... eue17, there i have Second Lieutnant... that acc is so bad because i had like 8 years and i was just grinding with friends that i met in this game, 0 things bought, i wasnt even using drugs, only 2 gold boxes catched... then i created another acc with Warrant officer 5 (better than Eue17 but not good at all) then i created ANOTHER acc that has Third Lieutnant and it needs 5k xp to level up... but i cant play on this acc because this game is unplayable now... this acc is my best account but i want to play but i can not... i miss old days doing parkour tricks with friends from tanki, also gold box events... and this Gold Box sound... very nostalgic... Now this game is just 10 year old kids buying everything from the shop...
