Thank you for posting this my friend.
On a different account my name is Aaron.
Aaron Lewis is such an underrated musician.
No
I've watched this performance over and over and I've come to the conclusion that this show may very well be the greatest acoustic performance ever captured on camera.
This and Chris Cornell - Song Book are the two best acoustic performances ever IMO.
Shawn Michael this song will be available to download for free from my website soon www.viewfromthepit.co.uk keep checking the site... it will be live soon, just need to configure a few things first
woodmaj this song will be available to download for free from my website soon www.viewfromthepit.co.uk keep checking the site... it will be live soon, just need to configure a few things first
Agreed
This is a great performance by Aaron, but the MTV Unplugged version of "Nutshell" by Alice in Chains is ( in my opinion) the greatest live acoustic performance ever. It taps into a troubled soul that is crying for help, but sadly goes unnoticed. R.I.P Layne.
whoever disliked this song, doesnt know what real music is...
Aaron is a musical genius.
This is just unreal... Ive been listening to Aaron my whole life, and his voice is unreal.
What sets him apart is the emotion put into the songs. When he is singing Outside you can hear the pain that motivated him to write the song. A plus
My boyfriend and I named our daughter after this song. Staind is the best ever. idk what I would do without this music in my life. Epiphany Rain is our daughter's name.
Beautiful....
That's some section 8 right there
That's awesome
Really cool..god bless
Aaron Lewis is the most underrated vocalist in the world.

This is one of my all time favorite songs but I respectfully disagree. It’s an amazing song and he’s a great singer but not a super duper great one; it’s not actually a terribly hard song to sing.
This guy has helped alot of people with his beautiful music! I'm one of them!
I have ADD and this song is my anthem for people that have trouble paying attention.
+Raymond Cortez me to, have been diagnosed as a child at 5 and re diagnosed as an adult at 19, im now 24 and trying to do something about it, this song speaks to me and im sure anyone with add/adhd could appreciate this song. Good luck dealing with your own brain :) lol
Same
SQUIRREL! WHAT? WHO ARE YOU? Me too guys ...toadstool...Ford...humma humma humma! FUCK...weed helps me...slows me down so that I can complete a thought...SQUIRREL! I just ran out...it's gonna be a long month tonight
Me and my 14 yr old son, racecar minds with bicycle breaks.
Story my life
Famous words i can remember the most "what's wrong with you, dont you pay attention.......
I said Hugh?
😧😲😯😴😳
One of the best versions
thank you.. i am actually just watching my own video (full concert) cant believe how much peoples are liking it.. this performance still gives me goosebumps when i watch them.. was so lucky to witness this snow and even more lucky to record it
VIEWFROMTHEPIT THANK U.....🛐 💨💜🤘
Such a beautiful song! The chick that yelled "What'd you say?!" after him explaining how hard it is to concentrate and Aaron saying "Right!" made my giggle and made my day! :P I suffer horribly from ADHD and have all my life. I will NEVER put narcotic medicine in my body for this! I will try any natural/herbal thing first, because the medicine is definitely not good for you. The struggle is real! -_-
Try CBD. No high just relief =)
When I heard that song, I played & sang it to my son. And now we sing and play all of your songs now my brother, thank you Arron for being you
The entire record has had a significant effect on my life. The live acoustic version is just a bonus. Much love aaron!
one of my favorite singers, holy shit
Most of us that play music for a living are ADD, High IQs but our grades never reflected it. But the rythym allows us to concentrate and the words just flow!
artistic creativity, in my opinion, is the only way to show your intelligence. school only reveals what you can remember, not what you can create. art in all forms whether it be music, painting, writing, building, is the only way for us to get a glimpse of the genius behind the creator
agreed Dom, I have been in studios so long, I cant remember songs Ive played for 20 yrs! If I try to think where I am in a song that I know, I close my eyes and see the Story like a movie in my Brain, But If I try to go back where I am in the song, I fuck up! I have to wait till my hands stop and I stop singing! LOL I was told by a shrink 10 yrs ago that was a friend, that Scientists like Von Braun, Thomas Edison, or A musician and the like Jimmy Buffet or Cat stevens , etc, If they were tested, the Best would be A.D.D. we have so much going on in our heads thinking way ahead of where we are, (Scatter Brained) But If we concentrate on that one thing that is where the Genius comes out! Think of the documentaries of those people and remember they were working on many projects at one time! I feel Privilaged to be ADD , Except when driving! Thank god for GPS's LOL
Micky DeLoach I have ADD pretty bad, my son has ADHD that will drive you nuts, but my wife swears I have a memory for music unlike anyone else, I cant remember our talk at supper, but I remember names of bands and songs/lyrics that everyone has forgotten, I think my boy will be that way too, hes already got his fav songs and hes just 5, long story short I agree its a way for us to calm us and help us concentrate. I tell my wife its like Supermans fortress of solitude
Absolutely! Most musicians and artists are ADD But the music tempo keeps us focused, Most Great Scientists were add too, Ben franklin would work on 3-5 projects at a time, Wernher Von Brun also, Beethoven would get bored with one Composition and would look around and see a composition he worked on a week ago and whe would work on of finish! Add is a Blessing Out Lord gave Artists and musicians!!! Yes it can even drive the add person crazy!
+Micky Deloach i've met plenty of musicians that definitely did not have high IQ's...i think you are reaching a bit. most musicians are actually just as dumb as they look, and they really are just doing it because it's fun and they wanna get chicks.
Aaron Lewis is definitely a Great artist! Every single song he has ever done is Awesome!
This makes me so sad. I have ADHD and this is 100% what I've felt my whole life. So shamed and ashamed. I am 38 now, and my poor babygirl also has it 😢 Thank you for this very relateable song, Aaron.
Yep Aaron Lewis is amazing!
watching aaron sing this live gave me goosebumps. i almost felt the same struggle with him for a moment. real music like this is what i live for
PROOF that there is room for the Steel Guitar in EVERY genre!
Zt4ySiC Your kidding right? The steel guitar adds so much to these performances!!!!
I couldn't agree more!
Same... If there's an actual recording of this with the steel guitar....
Shawn Michael that's his bus driver! He busted him out on stage on night and kept him on the show! It's amazing.
WET_BOY22 there will be one soon... check out my soundcloud 😎
I heard it when I was still in high school, and try to hear metal rock , but now that I'm a little older, I heard it again, the music is still good and I always play it
You can see it in his eyes. All the sorrow he had to survive.
The steele guitar adds so much. Sounds so good
I've loved this song for years and it always spoke to me, but now I know why. I have ADD too and it just makes me love this song even more knowing one of my favourite vocalists has it too!
2016 and it still gets to me
2019!
2022
2023
This always gives me goD bumps
Wow the country-fication of this song was very well done! His covers are legendary, and even killed it covering his own bands song
This is a gem 💎, so beautiful his soul❤️
Very respectful crowd over there.... they cheer when supposed to....and be quiet when supposed to.....unlike some places in the U.S where a bunch of people scream over the entire show and talk over him singing being just plain out rude.
This fucking song is so amazing. I'm 36 and have struggled with ADHD my entire life. I love Aaron Lewis.
Aaron, you are an inspiration! Don't go anywhere man, we love you.
hopefully he will come back to the UK next year
Such an influence to me and learning guitar. Aarons voice really goes deep. Havent had that sense Layne.
2020 still listening aaron lewis
Beyond Satisfied...
hes voice and really just his own spin on any song but this one really is able to reach deep inside my heart more than any amazing performance of Amazing Graze or any other song and some of Amazing Grace can just be full body chills even if you dont beleive in that kind of thing
Kimberly Graham love this Kim Graham...
Jesus what a talent
Absolutely wonderful
it feels like a new flavor in your tounge when his change the tones of the voice
that bloke on the steel is brill
I was there. Great show, thanks for posting.
i want to know the 75 people who disliked this.... the is amazing.
This song is all me these days! I feel for my son trying to live with me, especially since he's only 4 1/2 years old!
Stay strong brother, this too shall pass. Remember that feelings aren't facts, they eventually fade if we don't build stories around them and obsess about them, or try to push them away. Just let them come and acknowledge they're there then let them fall away. I hope you find peace brother. Take care
Love him! Been a fan growing up always will be!
I've listend to this song about a thousand times and didn't ever get it my son has adhd never ever thought about the lyrics until he actually said it makes sens4

What an artist! 🔥
how to play this song is so simple theres a special word for it ingenious. three chords so pick up that old steel string drop d and tune all other strings half step down thanks staind iv got another song for my playlist sometimes the easy ones are the best ones
great song came from a great artist. .
I agree completely on all the points you made. Same exact way I feel and my order would probably be the same
Gave me goosebumps for bout 6 min
The lad can sing!
Speechless
Wow man !
I feel this song go rite through me. I relate so much
It never really occured to me that this song dealt with ADD... it's so strange maybe I have ADD myself. I hear people... feel them... their words are directed at me. But i'm not there all the time... sometimes I get so immersed in thought I have to snap out of it. How I made it this far in life is beyond me... Anyway, this performance is incredible. Aaron really sings it so well... the song is very somber, but yet so beautiful at the same time.
Irredeemable XII I never knew either... but it makes perfect sense. I always related this song to my son...who had a stroke brain damage which caused his adhd
Six people do not know what awesome music is....
Awesome. ❤️️
dig my self a lil hole inside your precious heart
THE ONE AND ONLY...

Robert Brownlie this song will be available to download for free from my website soon www.viewfromthepit.co.uk keep checking the site... it will be live soon, just need to configure a few things first
This version should be available on iTunes. It's so nice to hear a live performance without the random "Whoo's!" at the wrong spots. People just shut up and enjoy the music.
No one commented about the essensce of Hawaiin Guitar 😍😍
feelin a little rainey today
Note to self: Move to the UK! They have respect for the performer, not trying to outsing the person next to them who has a "whooo!!" girl on his shoulders that wants everyone to know that "this song is about me bitchees!" like we do here in the land of "I'm more important than you" Fuken Beautiful recording bro....
NEEDHAM I will always have you burning in my soul
I suffer terribly from ADD and have never taken medication! I just get up every morning put my fucking boots on and go to work!
Wow. Now that i know what the song was actually written about no wonder it has resinated with me for all of these years!
I hope everyone will enjoy the music that I have shard on Facebook please take the time to listen to this amazing voice he has such a great way of singing his feelings and most of all agree
Your my idol :D
@GaryBrayneShowReel you're welcome * ;D

I have ADHD. Whether he is right about the medication thing or not his description is spot on.
