I originally thought this was a band from the 70s and you can believe how happy i was when I found out they're modern! What an absolute banger of a song and Im glad this genre is coming back

Retro is a powerful experience. Although, I should point out at 51, this was already a retro sound by the time I was 6. It doesn't change its importance as music. But it is curious how it has taken hold.
Not only does falsetto sound so cool over a funky beat, it just feels so good. I think alot of modern music is depressing (and I'm a metalhead typically, but I would argue most of metal is actually uplifting) and retro is the complete opposite. There's alot of anemoia out there with younger people because alot of modern media is drab and depressing.
Volcano has been a big album for me the last year and I'm almost constantly listening to it. One thing I would maybe like is if they could develop the live performance of this song a bit - feels a bit too true to the record version (and under 3 minutes performance). That would go someway to making up for the fact that they don't tour with any dancers and it would feel like more of a highlight?
Josh Lloyd said the track was written about a fictional place where one grew up and has "fond memories" of: "74 is a fictitious thing, but for us it's like 74th Avenue or 74th Street or something, where, in your imagination or as a kid, you were playing out on the street.

Loving all those "young" bands like Jungle, Parcels, L'Imperatrice, Khruangbin. ❤
Most of those been going 10+ years but yeah they feel new
@@phat111 Yes, they have been around for many years, perhaps the correct thing is "modern bands"
@@roomboowtrue but I think he meant that all these bands are at their peak rn getting into all the big festivals.
I'm going to check out the others. Thanks for the information.
Guess someone doesn't grow up with FIFA 15
Such a smooth and stylish song
Yes! This!
Lydia could sing me my shopping list and still enjoy that. incredible voice
that crowd sounds so happy
It’s in there music 🎼! ❤
We were!
It’s Glastonbury happiest place on earth
The combination of this song with the wind blowing and her sunglasses and subtle dance moves make this moment feel magical.
Adding Lydia to the Jungle line up was a brilliant move. Band seems complete. ❤
I will never get tired of this song
This song brings me back to a place I always wanted to be 🥹🫶🏽
These dudes are funky af ❤

Lydia kitto is maybe the most talent artist I’ve ever seen
Please upload more songs from this set 🙏
When a song is so insanely good, you seek out every performance to savor every delicious variation 🤗

Мёд для ушей❤
A+
Merci 🎉❤
Impossibly talented band! How many instruments do they actuallly play, between them? Wonderful!
🌋 🌋 🌋 ❤❤❤
Like Earth, Wind and Fire but lighter.
Beautiful singing one or two dancers would be nice with respect
Yes
🎼learnt my lesson at the same time🎼
FUCK that looks like such a good time
yeeyy yeeeyyy
This looks amazing but to me Jungle should always play at sunset. Seems they’ve outgrown that though so good for them
I’m seeing them at Austin City Limits and their set is from 7pm - 8pm 😮💨👌🏼
Quando vira ao Brasil?
Was this playback or live?
Slick
ReUpload?
Looks like so
I believe that there was an audio issue with Lydia's voice on the previous upload. It sounds much better here.
Next year ask Ren to do this… 🔥🔥🔥

What does it mean back on 74
Back to the year 1974

@@marcustaffi1872 thank you
Nice of them to show the German flag for the England manager 😂
dejavu
Where’s all the dancers😢
can't tell me this crowd wasn't sad the dancers weren't there
The dancers have rarely been there live in the 10 years they've been famous in UK so I don't think anyone was too disappointed
Kinda feels sad making the vocals from the first 2 albums redundant
I much prefer For Ever as an album.
I love the vocal, I love the music, but I see this artist in a suit and clean cut, his style of dressing throws me off.
Jungle - smoother than your mama's ironing....
can't accept drum and bass
How to the fucking brits awards there is dancers and to fking glastonbury there is none
Dictation is so poor
how much was 1 ticket to this crapfest because I wouldn't paid 1 goddam dollar for this horrible music all day good grief charlie brown 😂
Nobody ask u
