im Chinese and let me tell you something: she's good at pronouncing Chinese. I've heard so many Korean singers try to sing in Chinese, but it sounded terrible because their pronunciation was so off and I couldn't understand a word they were singing. But taeyeon's singing in Chinese was amazing. Sounded as if she spoke it all her life.

im chinese too, and understoood some of her singing. its actually pretty good. she is able to enunciate just like anyone singing in chinese, when it is not their mothertongue, b/c singing makes foreign language barriers go down. :) its a beautiful song with a beautiful voice.

Singing in Chinese and speaking Chinese are two completely different things, since while singing you don't really need to worry about tones... Moreso conveying the emotion of the music in order to set context for the lyrical meaning.
With that said, Taeyeon did such a good job! Definitely a fan.
