I just realized that Scarlet Heart OST are using top singers like Lee Hi, Epic High, Davichi, Baek A Yeon, Loco, Punch even the popular EXO, Taeyeon and IOI. The drama itself is using top idols and actors. The storyline is amazing and the props are no joke. This drama costs a lot I bet. I feel so sad to hear how this drama has low rating:/ Please spread more love to Scarlet Heart.

cause both drama was directed by the same director - named Kim Kyu Tae, his cinematography won him several awards so far. Btw, the costume designer in Scarlet was beautiful too. You guyz should watch Its ok thats love, he also directed that one.

Although scarlet heart ryeo is a historical fiction drama, the system back in their days used to work like that. People get killed. No happy endings. Everything must be done just for power and throne.
So let me count. 1. Wook and Myung (this one seems one sided but I think the finale shows this is true love after all. When Myung is all Wook think of moment before he died) one succumbed to disease the other died as a prisoner 2. So and Hae Soo. One died of illness the other left as a lonely king because all of the people he cared and loves either die or left him in fear. 3. King Taejo and Maid Oh Soo-yeon. One sacrifice her live the other can't even mourn because he is forced to execute her. Someone he truly love but he have to hide the feeling until the moment they reunite in the afterlife (this one is personally what I think the closest to a happy ending) 4. Baek-Ah and Woo-Hee (this is Basically a Goryeo version of Romeo and Juliet). One commit suicide to save her people while the other have to watch unable to do anything as she fall to her death. 5. Eun and Soon-deok. They are slaughtered together Bonus for one sided couple Chae-Ryung and Won. Both die as traitor Interesting that series also use foreshadowing everytime a relationship about to end those couple spend time together. Wook and Myung walk in the snow before she died in Wook's back. Soo and So become intimate together in the Palace making it their own little love court. before So goes full King and eliminates all his enemy. making Hae Soo leaves in fear. The King last cup of tea with Maid Oh, Baek-Ah and Woo-Hee goodbye and final kiss in the bathing cabin, Eun and Soon-deok playtime at the bathing cabin and their probably first and final kiss that lead to their demise. Everytime a couples seems to having their moment of love its almost mean their demise
Taeyeon's voice always has the power to make you cry. I can't have words to describe how much I love her voice. I never compare her with anyone, she's irreplaceable and the best singer in my heart.

Taeyeon's voice may be not powerful like Ailee but she definitely can put tears in your eyes just by listening her voice and I think that's pretty hard to do.
It felt like a scene from Disney. Just magical. To be precise, I got Beauty and The Beast vibes in that scene: remember the snow scene in Beauty and The Beast. Even the outfits Belle and Hae Soo wore felt similar and the vibes The Beast and Wook gave felt similar to me. The irony was that the actual Beast happened to be Wang So who felt for our Goryeo era Belle, Hae Soo and became a true prince and human being.

everytime wook looks at soo, there’s something in his eyes that i never saw in so’s :( he loved her so much but not enough to fight for her. this will always be the saddest second lead i know :(
Nadine Lee, but still, he should have known, that Hae Soo would never love and accept someone, who killed her friends (Mo and Eun) and tried to kill his own father. I mean, yes, it’s Reyo, but she always wanted to leave the palace and live somewhere away from the the royals with him.
Hae Soo was the happiest when she had Myung Hee (a mother like figure) by her side, who protected her and guided Wang Wook and enabled their love to blossom. Court Lady Oh, another mother-like figure to Hae Soo, taught her the hard side of life and made her stronger and mature and also taught her how people, even someone who promised her love like Wook can change and thus, she must not expect too much and be prepared for everything. After Court Lady Oh died, Wook drifted away from her and she slowly but gradually fell hard for So.
Wang Jung loved her the most. He's the only one who didn't force his love upon her. He's the only one who cared more about her happiness than his own feelings.
Thesi same here girl. Honestly I have no words to describe what this show did to me, it’s one of a kind. I don’t think I’ll ever find something remotely compared to this😢
Tae-yeon always the Princess of OST or should I say Queen! this drama is so underrated.. all the casts are great and it was well acted! ratings might not what everybody expected but this is worth watching 10x

Yeah she is an kpop idol regardless. Unless she starts producing, composing and writing most of her own songs then I MAYBE would call her an artist, but even that's a stretch. The training she had to do from SM and the lack of control she has over her own career (this includes every field, like dance, choice in variety shows, clothe...) Is what will always make her associated to being a Kpop idol. To add on to this it kind of sucks because it is as if she is a puppet and SM is the puppeteer. Like a product that is sold to everyone. Almost like a false identity. where ones individuality is sort of lost.

This is one of the best dramas I have ever watched. All the actors are amazing and the chemistry between IU and Lee Joon Gi is amazing! If you haven't watched this then you really should! And this dramas Ost are also amazing! For example this song! 💜 This drama is definitely in my top drama list!

Now I don't know who to be sad for anymore. Wang Wook,who loved her very much but had to give up on her in order to be able to protect her in future. Or Wang So,who loved her only but could not marry her and be with her forever. Or, Wang Eun,who loved her but had to marry someone else. Or Wang Jung,who had her but didn't have her,who knew she would never love him but still kept her happy. Or Hae Soo herself who loved and never got anything in return and died tragically. Ugghh too much tragedy for my heart to handle😭😭😭😭😭

i prefer a complicated, healing others pain and lots of 'heart attack' love than a romantic one. this is how i describe SoSoo couple and WookSoo couple. i love it when WookSoo together, they're romantic but i don't have this ticklish feels in ma heart, but with Wangso.... imma stop breathing everytime he's looking at Soo..... he's dark, fragile, and full of scars. it keeps break my heart when i see someone like this fall in love. because i know, he won't let go the girl he loves and never waver when he does, and will literally fell deeply in kove :") i'm waiting to the day SoSoo couple dominated the airing-screen instead of WookSoo couple.
That feeling when you ship IU/Hae Soo with Wook but when you saw ep.11 you can feel what hae soo's been feeling when she was left behind by wook. It teared my heart out. All with you reminds me with the two of them. Wook and Soo before everything happened I was just so damn inlove with them, that look when Wook is crazily fond of Hae Soo but then everything changed and I super hate him. Even though he did that to save his family still I was hurt by it and I won't be able to forgive him. Seeing him pained my heart. I can't move on by what he did. DAMN HIM! Who's with me? #justsharing tbh, I ship Hae Soo now with Wang So because I know that he can protect Hae Soo and I know that no matter what happened he will be there by her side. his not a coward like Wook.
I'm not sure if happened before, but since episode 14 this song became of Hae Soo and Wang So. It played along with the most beautiful kiss that I can remember in a drama.

The ending always tore my heart especially when Hae Soo returned to the present and remembered everything and started crying because she can't do anything 💔
@@chiaramiado I decided to go to the Chinese version and read the summaries of the episodes from that point on. Apparently it's quite like this world with all the corruption and power struggle except that it's a corporate environment. I skipped over some part, but their reincarnations feel an attraction towards each other. But she gets electrocuted and forgets her past life. Not sure if it ends there, but if it does, I guess it is better than dealing with the pain her whole life. She'd quite literally be living in the past.
Still can't get over this drama. Almost everyone dies. Just unbelievably tragic. Taeyeon is just absolute gold here. Conveys the emotions of this drama perfectly.
The reason why they gave us sad ending is because it will be in our heart forever. But they don't know that if it was a happy ending it will still be in our heart forever : ( (sorry for my poor English)

Beside Wook marriage more like political/business marriage. his marriage like gender reverse where wook play "typical women" part who get married for financial prospective. Social norm that time would not see affair outside marriage as something as bad as it is in our time.

Even the outfits Belle and Hae Soo wore felt similar and the vibes The Beast and Wook gave felt similar to me. The irony was that the actual Beast happened to be Wang So who felt for our Goryeo era Belle, Hae Soo and became a true prince and human being.

Apparently it's quite like this world with all the corruption and power struggle except that it's a corporate environment. I skipped over some part, but their reincarnations feel an attraction towards each other. But she gets electrocuted and forgets her past life. Not sure if it ends there, but if it does, I guess it is better than dealing with the pain her whole life. She'd quite literally be living in the past.
Still can't get over this drama. Almost everyone dies. Just unbelievably tragic.
Taeyeon is just absolute gold here. Conveys the emotions of this drama perfectly.
The reason why they gave us sad ending is because it will be in our heart forever. But they don't know that if it was a happy ending it will still be in our heart forever : (

Beside Wook marriage more like political/business marriage. his marriage like gender reverse where wook play "typical women" part who get married for financial prospective. Social norm that time would not see affair outside marriage as something as bad as it is in our time.
