My dad used to drive a parking lot sweeper truck at night and he’d go dumpster diving a lot. He’d bring home TONS of candy after the holidays, plus books, movies, movie posters, magazines, toys, and one time he found a solid gold watch that was broken. He pawned it. I can’t remember how much he got for it. He was lucky because when he encountered security guards he could just tell them he was cleaning the parking lot. LOL
I just researched if dumpster diving is illegal in my city and guess what it is illegal but if you hava a LICENSE for dumpster diving you will be good!!!! Wow I never heard of dumpster diving LICENSE crazyyyyyy might just get one hahahaha

I went to my bath and body last night where I have never ever have found anything. And I got 2 soup boxes from Ulta. They are next to each other. I couldn’t believe it. I still want some candles though lol
@@jamiegarcia7132 I don't work for ultra but for another chain store with cosmetics in EU. But there are days when they change displays ( last day of promotions) in my store it is every two week. They usually end changing displays at night before promotion and throw trash out and usually change testers too. But when shops have too much work they change display on first day of promotion. So Just check promotion dates in local stores.
I work at the mall I never get lucky when I take the trash out I never see nothing. I work at claires and they always throw good stuff out , will start looking for often now lol maybe I get lucky one day 😊
They have great candles, but a lot of their body washes and perfumes smell weird to me, like expired cosmetics even when they’re brand new. They also don’t last very long. And their plug in scent things and their car scent things have very little scent. Really disappointing.
I love your videos and finds but I do wonder if you worry about it being sanitary with like the makeup and how do you clean them? Some I can get like the brushes and maybe pallets but others like the lip or concealer products with the spongy applicators I don't get.
This is what I’ve learned along the way. This isn’t a fool proof plan but it’s how a lot of beauty stores sterilize makeup and such. I spray with rubbing alcohol and scrap away at 1st layers for any kind of powder product. Lipsticks u just cut the tip off and spray with rubbing alcohol as well. Lip and eyes are a lil more tricky, u have to use ur better judgment on what to save. I rarely keep liquid lipsticks, glosses or mascaras. Unless it was sealed, or I scrub the hell out of it. If I wan to keep a concealer I will scrub the wand and spray alcohol into the concealer and spray wand as well. I will also put all liquid type makeup into big zip lock bag and keep in the freezer for like a day. I haven’t had any problems yet 🤞🏻 it’s not for everyone but go with ur guts on what to do.

What state are you in? I've been diving for quite a while at my Ulta here in Pennsylvania and haven't ever found anything 😭 but ALWAYS find tons of stuff at ac Moore!

Because some fragrances smell bad when lighted. Cold wax can sometimes smell different compared to the melted version. And besides, the product can be defective when lighted maybe.
The first time I ever purchased from bb, I had a defective candle (1 of 6). After initially lighting it, the flame was sooooo small and wasn't burning correctly so I took it back
I have had to return candles for not burning the right way. I called them and explained the way the candle was burning and they told me to bring it in for an exchange. They said it was probably an issue with the wicks.

Bath and body works has a policy that if you want to smell a candle lit they will burn it for you in the store. You don't have to buy it though.
