Producers don't get enough props, his instrument pack is one of my favorites on Native Instruments. He made synths so much more common in Hip-Hop, prior to the 2000s/1990s they were nowhere near as common despite being around for decades prior.
Same people trying to hate on Drake were the same ones that wanted to be him just 6 months ago. These same people fantasized about living his OVO life and being in the studio with 40, selling out concerts and shows and rapping just like him now all of sudden don’t like him anymore literally overnight after you’ve been bopping to his hits for over a decade. Gtfoh
You're projecting something here friend. He obviously has what we think is the epitome of a pop rap lifestyle but to me it seems like being stuck as drake is just as bad as it is good. He's stuck being his corny self trying to be the hardest rapper alive when that should've never been the goal. He lost all respect from the rap community over the years the hate only grew it wasn't a conspiracy it's just how Drake has portrayed himself. Does that make sense?
@@15jchildersI still believe it’s based on opinion. Damn! Music is subjective. Kendrick and Pusha did their damage but to sum up Drake’s legacy like that is really arguable.

These studio sessions are late 2012-mid 2013, this beat is most likely just a throw away/warm up beat to help Drake and his people to get in their element start writing and catching flows and concepts together.
So I was wondering the same thing- but I figured it out. Listen to the very beginning of “worst behavior”. They scrapped this beat- passed it off and I bet Drake and 40 thought the start up to this beat was so fire (coming in slow/winding up) they wanted to use it for another track for the album at least once and they chose worst behavior. He’s got talent but I mean the production behind him are what makes the magic happen they publish his voice with plugins and EQs plus they make the beat sound perfect
I think at 20:48 he mentions "in the reference I have it's not there" he's probably referring to a quentin miller reference track. Drake's bars haven't been the same since Quentin was exposed as his ghostwriter and fired. Quentin must have recorded a reference verse to this beat for Drake which Drake memorized and it probably started with an adlib which is fucking up his start of the verse.
Are you dumb? All these 100 gigs videos show him writing some of his best songs on the spot and you're still nitpicking for lil words around to take credit from him. Drake is a legend, deal with it
QM wasnt a ghostwriter, he was credited on the songs in which they collaborated on. the same way kanye credits all his writers on his tracks. ironically, drake has written for kanye multiple times
The fuck are you talking about? They literally sampled the intro on that song from “The Language” do your fucking homework before you make dumbass claims hahaha
It's crazy to have access to the footage of such a timeless album. Hope we can see something like this from him one more time down the line

1:56-2:33 - Part of the Body Language instrumental by Big Sean, which dropped in 2020. It’s wild that Drake was recording on it almost 8 years before
This album was truly his magnum opus. I understand take care to majority was his best album, but personally, this album was truly drake at his best

Drake is the greatest, has the “culture” jealous out their minds 😂😂
all the masterpiece tracks from this album alone outweighs anything the "culture" has ever done when it comes to the actual MUSIC.
