  • The sky clear and was about Average seeing (3 out 5 from Cleardarksky Dot Com Website). The (ISS) peaked at 73 Degrees with a Mag -4.5. I think I caught this at around 65 Degrees since, I kind of lost it as it crossed the meridian and had to twist the Dob around and move my chair then caught it again as it was going down. I captured a total of 2300+ images. Also, you can clearly see the SpaceX Dragon attached to the International Space Station.
    I imaged with Fire Capture, then put the (.Ser) file in PIPP and converted it to an AVI file in
    The Video is RAW and unedited. I just took the (.Ser) File and converted it into a RAW Uncompressed AVI file in PIPP. You have to go to my website to see the final images. (AstroNebula Dot Com).
    I used a Red filter from my ZWO LRGB instead of a regular IR/UV cut. I don't know if that made the difference from my last attempts but I will use it next time until I get an IR Pass or something to help.
    Equipment Used:
    Zhumell Z8 8" Dobsonian Telescope
    ZWO 290mm with (Red) filter
    Antares 1.5x Barlow
    10x50 Apertura RACI Illuminated Reticle Finderscope to lock on and follow it in crosshairs.
    Telrad to help spot it easier
    Some stats from Fire Capture
    FPS (avg.)=164
    Shutter=0.282ms
    Gain=359 (59%)
