    I truly understand, i took a120 year old coastal freighter and spent 10 years restoring and refitting her for cruising. A year after bringing her from California to Puget Sound she sank. I single handedly refloated her and i am starting over...

    Mate, have just come on your channel after watching Dangar Stu. I own a 50' steely Ketch that I bought in run down condition in Gladstone, my missus & I rebuilt it, (still not finished!!) and sailed her down to Coffs Harbour (our home port) then Covid hit! About to head up to G.C.C.M. to put her on the Hard and complete some more jobs.
    I admire your project, the work and the fabrication that you have put into Brupeg. A first class job and you guys can stand tall to what you have both achieved. I hope to meet you guys one day and see Brupeg in the flesh. I'll bring a beer or ten with me!. Well done .
    Cheers, Tex. ( S.V. Mystic)

      @@ProjectBrupeg I retired in 2005 have a wealth of projects such as flipping two houses, installating a 3.9 turbo intercooled diesel in a 1952 Dodge Power Wagon (29,00 original miles) and restoring a 1965 Ford F600 49,000 original miles). After those projects are finished, I'm ready to help. Have the skills, tools and energy but live half way around the world. I do enjoy your team work and progress.

    I’m new to project BRUPEG, came after I saw her on Dangar Stu’s channel.
    I could wear 10 hats, I’d take them all off to you both, what a dynamic pair of motivated people you are, how anyone can spend as much time, money and sweat equity into such a project just leaves me in awe. As someone who dreams big, but seldom delivers, I would love 10% of your energy and motivation. I am not in a position to help out financially (I wish I was) but will send you guys as many good vibes as you can handle!!! Out of interest, what does a Trawler ready for the scrap yard go for these days?

      @ProjectBrupeg  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Adam. Scrap value depends on how much weight you have and of what type of metal. We had a bronze prop, stainless shaft and mild steel hull to recycle. For us it was about 9 grand all up

    Damien and Jess, you've done it again. You've created a work of art encapsulating the first three years of Brupeg in 36 minutes. Not only was it informative, but you emote an energy that conveys beyond the lens. It is an infectious sense of positivism and love. You make the hardest work look like the most joyous moments of your lives. The love you have for Brupeg and especially for each other is reflected in each moment of video. After watching your videos I am left with a sense of pride in humanity, a sense that hard work pays off, and a reminder that good people do exist in this crazy world we live in. You both embody the age old story of making something out of nothing and always looking at the positives. I am excited for you both and honored to play a small part in this endeavor.

    My first comment . Just have to say i love the wheelhouse. My day job is refitting tugs and yachts. I am on the paint crew over here in Vancouver Canada. I know that your refit can be tuff. But you both are made of the right stuff. Love watching people jumping of cliffs and building there wings on the way down. Be safe and take care .... Tom....a friend from Canada.

    That video was interesting to watch. You both have come a long way from the day you took possession of the boat till now. That has been a immense job for you to tackle. You certenaily have reason to be proud of what you have accomplished. She is a very diffrent boat now. There is still much work to be done, but your getting it done little by little. Nice work and kudo's to both of you.
