Why using Archmage? Is there a tech to convert the damage? Based on my observation and testing, gain damage cannot be convert. Convert always go first and then gain, so gain didnt get convert. Edit: You are looking for more damage? maybe I guess
according to tooltip damage "gained" is scaled to the type of damage it converts to so if i "gain" lightning damage i can scale it with %lightning(or generic +%spell, +%area, or +%hit). I don't have any +%chaos damage in my tree only +spell,+area damage, and +hit and some+lightning. This is also why i'm running conductivity as my curse and not despair. The massive lightning damage with the kitoko gloves(lightning damage electrocutes) let's me electrocute any rare in 1-2 hexblasts. Combined with temporal chains this 5 second stun is prolonged so much that I can just hit things without them fighting back. I normally electrocute t15-16 bosses 1-3 times per fight. tl;dr most of my damage is lightning so I scale the converted area/hit/lightning damage not the base chaos
Hexblast: Chaos Mastery - Controlled Destruction - Considered Casting - Ele Focus - AOE Soul Offering: Persistence - Ablation - Dance Macabre(Weapon set 2 passive tree with skill duration focus) Blasphemy: Temporal Chains - Conductivity - Heightened Curs Archmage: Lightning Mastery Skeletal Cleric: Minion Mastery - Arcane Tempo Blink: Ingenuity Vitality, Clarity, Cannibalism on any of the auras. Switch between magnify and controlled destruction on hexblast for clearing/bosses. Use soul offering to gigaboost your damage when needed(Thats what the clerics are for)
I like this, its pretty different to mine and I can see it being strong too. Unfortunately I cant try it, too expensive to setup new gear hahaha
Thanks! I learned a lot to improve mine from your build. BTW Check out Arvil's wheel for the bone offering weapon swap it adds +50% skill duration

You can see in 2:10 the rare enemy is electrocuted for 8 seconds until i killed it
