is the mobs from the last stage in each act just harder? i feel like they wreck me in endgame both the mage/archer stuff feel overtuned when ur a weak warrior even with the resistances. will chaos rest cap help me or i just need to get twice the HP? no energy shield so iguess that was my first mistake as a warrior even? xD leech life is the only thing that saves me if i even get to engage, eating a multiprojectile or explosive to the face when you cant even see it before its spawned on you
great build, would love to see your take on infernalist adaptation. to me infernalist seems stronger with pain attunement and her more multi on ascendancy as well as a method of having them both active all the time. That's what i'm doing at the moment and it absolutely rocks. maybe you can come up with stuff that didn't occur to me.
I'm doing infernalist as well. Double more crit bonus. Low life offers much more such as 6% regen from shield, 20% cast speed while lowlife, and even flask mod of more recov while low life. Using rise of the phoenix, atziri disdain, cloak of flame, and cowards legacy. Keystones: pain attunement, zealots oath, eternal youth. Builds feels good. 4th ascendancy I'm unsure of though. Infernal flame feels nice to not have to worry about mana and ignore all the increased mana cost downsides on the tree.
One more thing about Bonestorm - you can grab node's like "6% to fire an additional projectile" and it would procking while channeling and creating more projectiles up to a maximum (20) Only If you wont to invest into cast speed much, but at the same time - spending a lot of point into it, could be not worth it
Nice video, thanks for testing. Basically you confirmed that my assumption was wrong, i.e. the debuff is NOT an indicator for total hits of Bone Storm. The projectiles seem to leave a debuff, while the explosion does not! Which is probably some kind of bug, either it should leave a debuff or not hit in the first place. Makes the question of ricochet also harder to answer i guess. If you get half the dmg, because of the explosion, for missing projectiles anyway , you dont really need to invest into them hitting from the ground. I wonder how conc effect support factors into this. All explosions that do hit do 40% more dmg, but the explosion of "missed" projectiles are less likely to hit. Probably highly depends on boss size.
so what do you think is the best cast on crit setup for bonestorm specifically for bossing? arc + lightning conduit? And if so what support gems would be best? Also about arc, it doesnt really chain on just 1 enemy, does it? I tried using arc normally to test it better and it didn't chain onto the same enemy if theres just one
arc scales with # of chains remaining, but it does not multi-hit single targets. arc + lightning conduit is best damage, but in my testing i was not able to sustain the life cost when both of them were in coc setup. the recommended setup, use arc by itself with damage supports arc -> lifetap -> considered casting -> overcharge + whatever else you want
@@tsjnsn is lightning conduit really best damage since it consumes the shock? Ig it depends in what order it works, like if bonestorms dmg gets increased before lightning conduit eats up the shock it would be ideal but do you know if thats the case?
i like this type of a video
Appreciate you! my fav Path of Exile 2 Creator ;)

infernalist does have some appeal, although the cast on crit setup would not be entirely sustainable without the instant leech from bloodmage.

if scattershot didnt exist, i would definitely take these nodes
I love me some gritty CoC and Bonestorm torture
do you know why the overwolf thing prevents my "Escape" button to work ingame?

im pretty sure the projectiles that dont hit dont explode. so hitting the ground next to the boss does nothing for our damage :(
