Yvonne Strahovski did world class acting in this scene, watching her eyes shift was...almost heartbreaking, she loves him so much and still can't admit it to herself.
Yes for me she in love with him, cause of cover, can't say your feelings for him, and stayed denying, and these scene i see like Yvonne is a excellent actress, the way what change in your eyes is awesome! She just evoveld in the show! Congrats Yvonne for this! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
there's just something about these shows. These, old, now low quality videos, these shows that I stumbled upon only a few years ago, but these shows which will forever remain in my heart. Anytime I hear this song, it always brings me back to this scene and this series. Life was good when I used to watch Chuck, man.
I don't know why I am watching this much older video but the background song 'Fresh Feeling' and the moment fits so well. I like the part when Chuck asks Sarah 'We need to break up' and seeing Sarah' gentle smile. In that moment she felt, he is joking. Within a next moment she realized oh no...!, he is serious about it. The beautiful, innocent smile is gone in a flash. Keeping in mind that she knows why it is happening and there is nothing she can do to stop it but watch helplessly. How do I put it,,, Hmm its like invisible power take away your voice and paralyzed you from saying please don't say that...! I do need you as much you do and stay with me.
Nah... Look at how she was loking at his eyes when he stood closer to her. She was expecting him to kiss her (which she would probably allow). That's what the small pause and the "...What?" reaction after Chuck says he wants to break up mean. So sad for her, but it was surprising to everyone. I for one, was expecting him to kiss her in this scene lol They are so cute that the ending hurts. I hope there is really a movie.
This song also plays in the background of season 3 episode 9 when chuck is in castle trying to use the cards with pictures that they left him to make himself flash. Not as front and center as it is in this scene though.
In fact, it isn't. The song that really plays there is Dancing With Myself by Billy Idol. And... well... that wasn't a "fresh" feeling... at least until s3e13... you know what I mean ;)
RoadRunner Maybe you're right, there's only a quick little excerpt from whatever song it was, and it sounds an awful lot like this one. And I know what you mean, the whole beginning of the season was the opposite of that lol. Though to be fair this episode wasn't very "fresh feeling" for one of them, and this scene wasn't for the other one.
@ChuckMusicWB The There are so many good sounds to look at. This show had an incredible soundtrack. I have about 165 sounds from Chuck and still counting. if I look at my itune, it seems 3 rounds and a sound is my #1 (fell in love with Blind pilot because of this show) and Fake Empire and slow show by The Nationals (another brand I discovered with Chuck). But knowing your #2 and #4, I hesitate between Create Fear from Bon Iver or Into your Dream from Forein Born.
I dont hate the finale, but its almost like you say all for nothing i think, ive seen the last two episodes like 4 times, and i got the message, the final is in your mind how could end up after the final scene, magic kiss whatever things was that, but another ending scene couldve been better, so just can say we should pray for a movie or season its most probably a movie, but this was one the greatest show ive ever seen
It all depends on how you choose to view the ending. For me, Chuck vs. Sarah was the most heartbreaking episode of TV I've ever watched. But Chuck vs. the Goodbye was one of my favorite finales that I've ever watched. It had everyone coming together to help, everyone got some type of happy ending, the best Jeffster performance of the show (to me), Casey hugged both General Beckman AND Chuck, so many awesome things happened. Chuck shooting down Casey while trying to be an amazon spy to impress Sarah was absolutely perfect. And they gave hints that she was getting memories back, so even if the magical kiss didn't work, she fell back in love with Chuck (considering that kiss in the end) and gradually gained her memories back, with Chuck helping her, just like Sarah helped him in the beginning of the show.
Not sure why she's surprised here since she had told him the day before (under the influence of the "truth serum") that "their thing under their cover thing" was going nowhere.
Of course she is surprised because she knows that Chuck have a crush on her, but everything she said under the truth serum (she lied to him) made him to decide to be with Lou. Which is normal, Lou liked him also and said it to Chuck.
@@PhlilipeAlves Yes, but Sarah also knows Chuck is interested in Lou and Lou is interested in Chuck, so his reaction cannot be that surprising. I mean, it is, but it shouldn't be.
This pretty much made Sarah and Casey's conversation, in the next episode, about her falling for the guys she works with, pretty much pointless. Just the question here made it clear that he already knew, and Sarah's answer is essentially an admission. She easily could've acted like she didn't know what he was talking about.
Broke her heart. I know it’s not all Chuck’s fault but he should have worked harder. Everyone knew even Casey. Keep chipping away. She was so close to falling
Worked harder? All he knew at the time was that their relationship was a cover. He asked her while she was under "truth" serum and she lied. So he chose to move on because as he said he was only "fooling" himself. Now I also fully understand Sarah's reservations because of what happened with Bryce Larkin. But sometimes if you feel something you have to say it. She chose not to.

I always like when she blinks right when he says we need to break up. It was like a punch to the gut. The blink and then "What!?!".
1:31 anticipating a kiss
1:44 realizing the situation
2:00 crying deep in heart
Three totally different emotions in 30 seconds
I love it how Sarah buries her feelings deep but shows them to viewer at some spots. Yvonne is world class actress.
Her eyes said so much! From anticipation to the realization of sadness

One of the most satisfying moments of television ever. Finally the nerd is the one that breaks things up
You're a complet moron. They love each other.

There wasn't a movie but there was a table read not too long ago...

@@cheetahda1o763 Zach is working on it, but everyone is busy (incl. the writers). I still hope it happens though. We seriously need that :)
Still hoping for movie in 2021
I miss Chuck series so much...
Did not expect that!
Keep Yourself Warm is def one of my favs, but Half Moon by Blind Pilot and Christmas TV is my favorites. Oh also Bon Iver's of course.
Wait! This song was on Chuck?? I only remember this on Failure to Launch!?
Love your choices all in my top Chuck songs!!

EELS makes this masterpiece shit 1000000000 times better
Someone else please tell me they hated the finale? It is like it was all for nothing and I can't even watch them over again knowing that.

I know man, I totally agree with you my guess is that writers tried to do something different but they were to far
It was bittersweet and made me feel all the feelz. They did a good job.
As one who just discovered this fantastic show I totally agree. There is nothing definitive.

She fell for him in the first episode. She doesn't want a break up, even if it's a cover break up.
@Guibsx Really really close its #4! Definitely one of my top Chuck songs. Bonus points for you!
This is my number 2 most played Chuck song on iTunes! Got a guess what number 1 is?

@Guibsx Certainly a great song but its #37 most played for me. Whats your #1?
I can't find anywhere this full song on youtube can anyone give me the possible link or something ? :)
I wish! haha
Song was also in scrubs
Message to everyone: Share what your most played Chuck song is here! And take a stab at what you think mine is too?
Hate the way she suffer in that scene :(
Yeah, but having Casey tease her about getting dumped lets her know Chuck isn`t the easy guy she thought he would be...

ah yes the lady tang
Young Blood and Keep yourself warm
3rounds and a sound by blind pilot?
Is it October Song by Nico Stai?
@alixchi or maybe christmas TV
Or maybe dropped by phantom planet ?
