Right at the outset let me compliment and congratulate Vidhushii (yes she is and not a child artist) Bharghavi Chandrasekar on her sterling ARANGEDRUM performance in Krishna Gana Sabha. It was mature, full of concentration, with perfect Sruti, Layam, and Bhavam. To sing for almost 3 hours with practically no flaw Is amazing. I take this opportunity to congratulate both ( Rajarajeshwari & kriti) the Butts, and feel Bharghavi was singularly lucky to get such GURUS. One can see the dedication to teaching, involvement in the planning of this concert, presentation, selection of kritis, the flow of the concert, and above all bringing out every aspect of Bhargava’s talent on stage. One can see the Lalgudi sir’s beauty of presentation which Gurus have taught Bharghavi. (For example in THODI “thullivilayadi varum thoghai mayil mele” rendering). Each one of the pieces sung was good and to cap it RTP in two ragas by a 13 year old young artist was icing on the cake. Javali, Abhabang, and thiillana were par excellent and rendered in a very mature way. One and all including senior artists on stage accompanying her apart from encouraging her, were full of appreciation which she richly deserves. My only suggestion is she should continue this hard practice and listen to Doyen’s concert (both male and female artists) of yesteryear. Bharghavi is gifted with rare Carnatic music talent and we pray for her to be further blessed with many more great and dedicated performances which sure will bring accolades to her in this field.
Unbelievable talent for her age - this is pure Saraswathi kadaksham! Bless you, child. Please always remember the contribution of your accompanists, who are all stalwarts in their chosen fields. A concert's greatness is determined by the way the accompanists encourage and embellish the main artiste.

Madam, my suggestion is you could have provided the details of the young singer' gurus and several people in printed pamphlets. Why unnecessarily very long introduction? We are longing to listen to the wonderful concert of Kum.Bhargavi and not your voice. Please shorten your speech in coming concerts. Allow the singers to sing more.

RTP represents Shanmatam (Vishnu, Shiva, Devi, Ganesha, Shanmukha, Surya) - Sri Pathy Sodari Pashupathu Bhaskari Sumkha Shanmukha Adi vandithe. Our guru (Vidushi Smt Rajarajeshwari Bhat) composed it at our request.
