What a great turnout!! Plus, I saw the Batmobile, KITT, Highway Patrol. I thought I had heard Broderick Crawford's voice. Just saw the Ferrari from "Magnum, P.I." "Starsky's Torino". What a beautiful day for such a great turnout!!
Keep yer eyes out for my white 56 Mercury ambulance "SEARCH ND RESCUE" bringing up the rear -- [ there were a number of problems with these old cars -- as many of them were NOT "daily drivers" and generators, alternators and batteries were put to the TEST with all the lights and sirens and horns ] My Merc, and her tools, and my expertise came in handy to keep things moving --- :) It WAS fun helpin out back then :)
I have 3 classics..... are there any car shows or parades we can attend? 1946 ford sedan L.A.P.D 1964 Plymouth fury L.A.S.D 1965 DODGE POLARIS C.H.P I would appreciate some feedback or information 👍Thank you

i loved the caprice police cars in the 80's.
It's great to see Larry Wilcox and Paul Linke!!!
What a terrific video of our event!

A lot of restorationists forgot that all emergency vehicles in California are required to have 1 steady red minimum.
I live on Chicago and the LAPD were always Americas’s police force-classic!

The fact that 'Rosco' showed up in his Cruiset is awesome
Seeing a 1991 Crown Victoria in 2:22 makes me appreciate my old 1989 LX, as I have a piece of old school police history.
Needed more Larry , he should have been in his CHP Uniform riding, that 7 Mary-3

The days when cop cars were not lit up like Christmas trees..

É BONITO E POR UMA BOA CAUSA
How many laws were broken this day?
How many laws are broken by average citizens every day would even more mind-blowing.
Que lindos autos de policia
Great video Andy.....Shame the event clashed with PTTA2013....Think we had just as many US cars as you did though.
They need to take these cars out of California to best preserve them and prevent their destruction by rioters
there's a German Police car, don't ask why just admire

inspirality that’s the front half of a Mack fire engine tiller ladder
@@Kjk_808 nope, that's an American LaFrance. Plus, Tiller trucks in the LA metro area are called "Light Force".
Where are these cars stored!?!
The ones owned by the studios at the studios, the rest came mainly from their owners homes in California, but also further afield across the west USA.
Were there any all white highway patrol cars used in the 70s for chp
I did not remember seeing any, but there could have been as the convoy was very big.
@@AndysVideo ok thank you
