Thank you for your video. If you want to buy 2 tickets with visa do you have the option to choose 2 tickets together or you have to tap twice the card? Also how the inspector knows that you have paid with visa card?

Thanks for the video. So, in Tallin you don´t have machines to buy tickets with cash, right?
Other question, you don´t have to tap the card when you leave the transportation?

Yes we don't have machines for tickets and you don't need to tap the card when you exit.

Nice video! Such a level of transportation is free, it's truly amazing!

It is actually not free just you do not pay when you ride but later from your taxes :) (if you are resident)

@@GeorgiZanev you are absolutely right! Nevertheless, a lot of people pay huge taxes and pay for public transport anyway 🐱 In different countries I mean

Being on time and clean is the most important part but it being "Free" has a lot of benefits

@@GeorgiZanev It's actually a paradox why people still use private cars a lot in Tallinn despite the clean stable and free transport. In fact the number of car owners is even growing

I also don't get it :) especially if you use the car only to go to work and back and the occasional visit to the store I feel that the average car usage time is 2h out of 24 which is a huge waste .

Love your "day-to-day" videos of life in Tallinn and Estonia! In this video you commented Tallinn being a small city. Over the years I have heard many Estonians (well, Tallinners) say the same thing. Well perhaps so, but whenever I'm in Tallinn I'm always surprised how much larger the city feels. Yes, in land area it stretches outward in different corridors with water (be it the bay or Ulemiste) dictating land use. However, it's also all the activity that makes the city feel larger: the pedestrians, traffic, the ships at the harbor and airplanes. And all the construction. By no means am I suggesting Tallinn is Midtown Manhattan or London...but it does have a hefty amount of 'hustle and bustle' that makes it feel bigger. Currently, I think Tallinn embodies the best of all worlds: small town that feels big; old city and modern city; harbor, beaches, and plenty of greenery. 🙂

Thank you ! I havenever thought of Tallinn this way but you have a good point. It is very inspiring to live in a city with constant positive change which you can see every day as buildings being built, infrastructure improving, new global startups taking over the world from Tallinn :)

I think it will be nice to have some additional information about new tram lines being under construction and OF COURSE my favorite RailBaltic

Yes it is kind of curious but it will be some years until Rail Baltic is completed

    • @GeorgiZanev

yes you need to use the card again in the next bus but then it will only validate your ride but will not charge you if it is within that 1 hour limit

Can't you pay by credit card? Do you only need a debit card? Also, is it only possible to buy a ticket for 1 hour with QR? I wanted to buy a 24 hour ticket, it asks for a card number.
    Thanks

You can buy one-hour tickets with all Mastercard, Maestro, Visa and Visa Electron bank cards with contactless payment interfaces and using Apple Pay Express. When using your bank card to buy tickets on public transport, be sure to use the validators equipped with the wireless payment logo (in the front of the vehicle). www.visittallinn.ee/eng/visitor/plan/transport/public-transport#one-hour-tickets-and-day-tickets-with-contactless-payment-cards-and-apple-pay-express

@@GeorgiZanev On the 20th of May I had a one-day trip to Tallinn. There were road works in the city. Paralysed. I bought a card worth 2€ from one of the kiosks. I loaded 5,5€ via the app. But unfortunately, every time I got on, 2€ was deducted. I couldn't visit the city properly. Why don't the authorities here make ticket transactions like other European countries (for example Germany). Why don't they build ticket machines at certain points, so that tourists can travel comfortably? I do not recommend it.🙄

So you can use visa and master card on tram if you don’t have a green card?
    What about typing the code?

    • @GeorgiZanev
