    GM has done a marvelous job with the styling of their vehicles. They still have a lot of stuff to live down before I would consider buying one though.

    Pretty nice car.

    Just a heads up - the coefficient of drag isn't a direct measure of how much wind resistance the vehicle produces, it's a measure of that resistance divided by the frontal area. So a car's drag is the drag coefficient times the frontal area of the car. So a lower or more narrow car will tend to have higher drag coefficients, but often LOWER drag at any given speed than a more broad vehicle.
    TL;DR don't pay too much attention to drag coefficients. It's sort of like engine displacement - it really doesn't matter, as long as the real performance is good (fuel economy being the real performance indicator that's being red-herring'd by drag coefficient, torque curves being similarly confounded by engine displacement)

    At 2:47 correction: This model does NOT come with a Panoramic Moonroof. That would define a moonroof which extends the entire span of the interior, front to back.

    Why do they use wider rear track than front track the lowest traction 0.7g on Cruze?
    Their answer "Because it is cheap to design and it isn't your concern."

    I never understood the need for wifi in a car because most people have smartphones that also have the hotspot feature. The owner of the car saves no money by using this feature. He talks about roaming, but unlike calling and texting, data does not incur roaming charges unless you leave the country. I'm in Canada and I can use my internet across Canada at no additional charge. I might have to pay if I crossed over into the US, but I'm sure the same would be true with the car's data plan. The way I see it, you're just paying for two data plans for no reason.

      Exactly, this looks like a sneaky offer from Chevy where they offer 3 months of Wi-Fi for free and then charge the customer. It's one more thing to worry about.

      I think in time, they will all look a little similar due to achieving the lowest aerodynamics.

      Richard Joash Tan Chevy and GM actually makes their cars look like luxury cars on the inside. Civics interiors are bland. And they are hard to keep up. Their tear more easily.

    I don't get why the Taillights have 2 white spots on them , the one on the trunk would be the backup lights and the ones on the outside would have an amber bulb for a turn signal . But no it's blank , looks very cheap . Nothing new with Chevy . 153hp whoppie do! 👎🏼😝

  • @PedroAntunes78
    @PedroAntunes78 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    I really don't like the new look. It looks very bland and generic. The old model sold well because it had character. This new one looks like an old civic or hyundai but without the reliability. Don't care about the connected car thing. I have a phone for that. No need to pay for another extra service. And making all cars look the same is crap. No need for another VW copy cat.

      +Brandon Black not really, because to make 500hp it costs a lot more then 250Hp. 250 is a lot better then 150

      150 is fine, most people aren't looking for a sports car it's all about balance the torque and HP for quick response, smooth acceleration and enough power to merge and pass.

    The Civic has some competition it said.....well first off, Chev starting price is $10,000 more, so right there, I am sold on Honda, not to mention all the problems I had with all my Chev's that were always less than 10 years old. Done with Chev, first Honda will be in my driveway soon.

    • @jamalh4084
      @jamalh4084 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Chippy Tucker the civic hatch is more than the Chevy. Naw. In fact I traded my Honda for a Chevy.

    • @chippytucker6318
      @chippytucker6318 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      well, all I owned for years, was Chev, NEVER again will I own ANY North American car, or truck, and HONDA will last, unlike that Chev crap I have owned for many years, I have zero faith in Chev, and will no longer give them a red cent. Brand new Honda 2016 in my driveway now, and MUCH better than any Chevy I have owned, and believe me, I have owned several Chev products. My sisters both owned Honda's, and both got well over 10 years out of them, and with very little maintenance, unlike the Chev's, Ford's, and Chryslers.

    • @jamalh4084
      @jamalh4084 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Chippy Tucker no. Chevy products last longer. Do you see older hondas from 1967 or something on the road. No because they are hard to keep up. It's easy to keep a Chevy up because it's not complicated and after a few visits for the dealerships it's done for at least several months. I have to take a Honda to the dealer more. And it's annoying. Hondas aren't built the way they were used to. Because Honda tries to put more things in their rather than actually testing and making sure the cars works properly but that's every car now with these damn recalls but at least Chevy is not a huddle to fix. Neither is Chrysler, ford, or tesla. Once they fix the cars that's it. It's fixed. Actually treat your cars right rather than just letting them take it then saying "I thought cars were meant for that." Because trust me we misuse cars all the time. That sounds like what you were doing. Also those shitty ctvs get on my damn nerves they always sound like they need an oil change which they probably do.

    • @jamalh4084
      @jamalh4084 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Chippy Tucker just because your experiences with the car was bad doesn't mean other people feel the same way. It probably means your dealer fucked up the car or you've misused that car so much that the thing is deteriorating. Trust me. Put that Honda through the same things as chevys and you have yourself problems sir. Because I have had my great dad's Chevy since the early 19 hundreds as well as his cadillacs. And my 2007 Malibu hasn't given me problems since I got it. And my 2016 gmc Cadillac and chevys are sitting in my driveway right now.😐😐😐

    • @jamalh4084
      @jamalh4084 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Chippy Tucker also if you bought a used car. Expect problems from the previous owner who thought his car was crap so he abused it. It was Probably crap in the first place. You can't trust used cars these days. But at least Chevy doesn't show its problems because my tire rod was messed up and I didn't even know. You have to keep the car up not let it deteriorate on the car is all fixed that's when you have no more problems in any car. But I have a Honda to. It's ok. But I I get a natural feeling of luxury when I'm in chevys. Sorry about these paragraphs but I hate it when people hate on a car and probably didn't even try to keep the car up.
